Installation and specifications

For installation, it is necessary to prepare an opening in the ceiling with the dimensions corresponding to the module. As it is a recessed lamp, the wiring must remain hidden within the ceiling structure. It is recommended to have a certified electrician perform the connection, as it operates at 220V-240V. Before starting, make sure the circuit breaker of the electrical installation is deactivated. Frameless mounting requires precision in cutting the opening so that the fit is clean and without gaps.

For maintenance, clean the surface with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that could damage the PC diffuser. Do not handle the lamp while the installation is connected. If the LED module requires replacement, consult a qualified technician.

Design and use

The LUMINA 1200 lamp is built with an integration logic: it does not seek to draw attention to itself, but rather to become part of the ceiling as if it had always been there. The transparent body visually disappears against any ceiling finish, whether white, grey, or textured. What remains visible is the line of light, continuous and uniform, running along the 1245 mm of its length.

The oval PC opal diffuser is the element that makes that sharp-edge-free light possible. The opal softens the LED emission point and converts it into a homogeneous luminous surface. There are no bright spots or marked shadows. The temperature of 2700K places the light in a warm zone, close to classic incandescent light, which is comfortable both for rest spaces and for areas of moderate activity.

In a living room, this lamp works as the main light when combined with other point sources. Its flat profile, with just 34 mm in height and 30 mm in depth, allows it to be installed in ceilings with little plenum space. The SMD LED light source is not included. It must be purchased separately before installation. Make sure the one you choose is compatible with the 2700K and the indicated maximum power of 60W.

What is the difference between a frameless recessed lamp and a conventional recessed lamp?

In the LUMINA 1200 model, the transparent body fits into the ceiling opening without leaving any visible trim or frame around it. The result is a cleaner integration, where only the oval luminous surface of the diffuser is perceived.

Is the 2700K colour temperature suitable for work spaces, or only for rest environments?

2700K offers warm light that is pleasant in bedrooms, living rooms, or dining rooms. It is also valid for kitchens or work areas with complementary ambient light, although for high-precision tasks a more neutral temperature may be preferred.
