Design and use

The KOMBO lamp starts from a simple idea: a cylindrical structure in matte black at the top and an oval shade in grey metal that directs light downward. This combination of clear geometric shapes and sober finishes allows the luminaire to fit into a wide variety of environments without creating visual conflict with the rest of the furniture.

The body is made of steel, which gives it solidity without adding excessive weight. At 1.67 kg, the pendant lamp does not pose a problematic load for a standard ceiling fixing. Yes, the multiple canopy is designed precisely for that: to bring the 3 luminaires together at a single fixing point on the ceiling. This simplifies installation and keeps the ensemble tidy without the need for three independent anchors.

Does the oval metal shade affect the direction or dispersion of the light?

The shade directs light primarily downward, concentrating the illumination on the lower plane. This makes it suitable for lighting specific surfaces such as tables or worktops, although the upper part of the lamp also allows some light through if a bulb without a reflector is used.
