Installation and specifications

Design and use

The KOMBO series was born from the collaboration between FARO and the Nutcreatives studio. The proposal starts from a simple idea: a pendant lamp with an upper cylindrical structure in matte black and a shade that adds warmth without feeling overloaded. In this version, the shade is beige and is made of metal. Its geometric profile is clean and recognizable, without superfluous details.

The oval shape of the shade is one of the most notable features of the design. That oval silhouette generates a calm visual presence that does not compete with the rest of the furniture. In a dining room, for example, the pendant lamp acts as a visual reference point above the table without imposing itself. In a kitchen, that same effect allows the lighting to fulfill its function without becoming the dominant element of the space.

The matte black finish of the body works well alongside materials such as wood or iron, and also in combination with neutral tones on walls and furniture. It is a lamp that adapts both to environments with a more modern aesthetic and to spaces with more classic or Nordic references. In a living room with simple-lined furniture, it fits naturally. In a room with more eclectic décor, it acts as an element of visual order.

This version of the KOMBO family includes a multiple canopy with 5 lights. That means that from a single point on the ceiling, five arms are distributed with their respective cables, each with its own oval shade. Yes. The cable is long enough to adjust to different heights. It can be gathered and fixed internally according to the ceiling height where the lamp is installed.

Is the oval shade of the lamp made from the same material as the upper cylindrical body?

No. The upper cylindrical body is made of steel with a matte black finish, while the oval shade is also metal but in beige. Each part has its own finish and function within the assembly.
