The rattan shade does not require chemical products for maintenance. A dry or slightly damp cloth is sufficient to remove accumulated dust. Design and use

The COSTAS collection was born from the work of designers Alex and Manel Lluscà, and that shows in the details. The oval rattan shade is the central element of the design. It is not a closed shade that hides everything: the bulb remains visible between the interwoven fibers, creating a light distribution with texture, with soft shadows projected around it. The result is lighting that does not flatten the space, but gives it depth.

Rattan is a material that has been used for a long time in furniture and interior accessories. In this pendant lamp, it appears in an orderly and clean way, without looking improvised or excessively handcrafted. Yes, the rattan fibers filter part of the light and create a diffuse, textured illumination. The bulb remains visible, so there is direct light downward, but the sides project a softened effect. For spaces that require very intense lighting, it is advisable to supplement with other light sources.

Is the included ceiling support suitable for standard plaster ceilings?

The pendant lamp is fixed to the ceiling using the support included in the assembly. For conventional plaster ceilings, it is recommended to use an expansion anchor suitable for the weight of the assembly, which is 1.67 kg. If there is any doubt about the ceiling's load capacity, consult an installer before proceeding.

Is this lamp compatible with dimmer switches?

Compatibility with dimmers depends on the E27 LED bulb chosen, as the light source is not included. Some LED bulbs are dimmable and others are not. Check the bulb's specifications before installing a dimmer.
