Overview

The FARO wall light is a lamp designed for outdoor use. It mounts directly on the wall and works well on terraces, entrances, porches, and facades where a fixed, hassle-free light is needed. The opal diffuser distributes light evenly, without harsh shadows or bright spots that strain the eyes.

The lamp has a rounded design in matte white that fits effortlessly into different settings. It doesn't draw too much attention, but it doesn't go unnoticed either. This makes it easy to combine with walls of different colors and finishes.

FARO is a Spanish brand with years of experience in lighting. Their products combine durable materials with careful design, built to last under real-use conditions, both indoors and outdoors.

Installation and specifications

Before installing the wall light, make sure the wall where it will be mounted is solid and capable of supporting the anchor. Turn off the power at the electrical panel before starting any wiring work. If you have no experience with electrical installations, the safest option is to ask an electrician for help. The wall light mounts directly onto the wall surface, with no additional fastening elements required.

To clean the lamp, use a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents, which can damage the finish of the body and the diffuser. Always disconnect the power before cleaning. Do not handle the light source or the interior of the wall light without first cutting the power.

Design and use

The FARO wall light is made of ABS, a solid material that holds up well against temperature changes and continuous outdoor use. The body has a matte white finish that does not accumulate reflections and maintains a clean appearance over time. It is a compact wall light: at 200 mm long and 100 mm high, it takes up little space on the wall and does not interfere with other elements of the facade or garden.

The diffuser is made of opal polycarbonate. This material is more resistant than glass in outdoor use spaces, where there may be accidental impacts or temperature variations. The opal disperses light gently, without creating harsh contrasts between lit areas and areas in shadow. This makes it especially comfortable in spaces where people walk past or sit near the light source.

The 7W SMD LED light source is integrated into the lamp. There is no need to search for or purchase any separate bulb. The color temperature is 3000K, which provides a warm light, close to the tone of a traditional lamp. This type of light is pleasant on a terrace at night, at the entrance of a house, or next to a garage door. It does not strain the eyes and creates a relaxed atmosphere without being too dim.

This wall light does not include a motion sensor or presence detector. It operates continuously while switched on. If you need automatic control of the lamp, you can manage it via the switch or an external timer. The absence of a sensor simplifies use and reduces potential failure points.

The mounting is directly onto the wall, which makes installation easier and gives a tidy result. There are no hanging cables or out-of-place elements. On a facade with several luminaires, this model allows a coherent visual line to be created without any single wall light drawing too much attention on its own.

On a terrace with vegetation or natural materials, the white of the wall light contrasts softly without breaking the overall look. At an entrance with stone or concrete floors, it provides a clean point of light that guides without dazzling. It also works well in outdoor corridors or along the sides of a swimming pool, where warm light reinforces the sense of calm as evening falls.

A patio or garden with well-distributed lighting feels like a larger and safer space. A wall light of these characteristics, placed at the right height, can be sufficient to illuminate a passageway or visually mark an entrance. If the space is larger, several light points spread along the wall achieve a balanced result without the need to install more powerful spotlights.

The weight of the wall light is 0.3 kg, which means the wall requires no special preparation to support it. It adapts to masonry walls, rendered facades, or timber surfaces treated for outdoor use.

Questions and answers

Is the LED light source included or does it need to be purchased separately?

The 7W SMD LED light source is integrated into the wall light. No additional bulb is needed to get the lamp up and running.

Does the wall light include a motion sensor to activate automatically?

No. This wall light does not incorporate a motion sensor or presence detector. Switching on and off is managed manually or via an external timer connected to the circuit.

Is the 3000K color temperature suitable for a terrace or garden?
