Installation and specifications

To install this outdoor stake, choose a location where the ground is free of cables, pipes, or thick roots. The stake is driven directly into the soil; make sure the ground is firm enough to hold it upright. The electrical connection must be made by a qualified electrician, using cable suitable for outdoor use. The GU10 LED bulb is not included and must be purchased separately before installation.

To clean the body, use a slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that may damage the matte finish. Periodically check that the stake remains securely anchored, especially after days of heavy rain or strong wind. Do not handle the bulb with the power connected.

Design and use

The LUCA stake is a compact floor luminaire that integrates into the garden without getting in the way. Its height of 253 mm keeps it discreet among low plants or path edges, while the adjustable head allows the beam to be directed exactly where needed. It is not a marker light, but an accent spotlight: its function is to highlight, not to provide general illumination.

The body is made of black polycarbonate, a material resistant to impacts and prolonged outdoor exposure. The matte finish prevents the reflections that often appear on glossy surfaces when artificial or natural light strikes them. This allows the projector to blend into the surroundings during the day and fulfil its function without distractions at night.

The honeycomb filter is one of the elements that most influences the visual result. It reduces direct glare and concentrates the beam, so that the illuminated object gains prominence without the light source becoming intrusive. In a garden with marker lights distributed around the perimeter or with several spotlights aimed at different points, this detail makes a difference to the overall perception of the space.

The IP65 certification guarantees that the body is protected against dust and direct water jets. This means it can be exposed to rain without any problems, making it suitable for variable climates. It is a solution designed for real outdoor use, not for a covered porch or a roofed terrace.

The GU10 LED bulb accepts up to 5 W and operates over a wide voltage range, between 100 V and 240 V. This makes replacement easy when the time comes: the access cover allows the bulb to be changed without complicated tools or removing the stake from the ground. Does the polycarbonate body hold up well under continuous exposure to sun and rain?

Yes. Polycarbonate is a material resistant to solar radiation and moisture. In addition, the IP65 certification guarantees complete protection against dust and direct water jets, so the stake is prepared to remain outdoors permanently.

Can the direction of the light be adjusted once the stake has been installed in the ground?

Yes. The head is adjustable, which allows the angle of the beam to be changed after the stake has been installed. There is no need to remove anything from the ground to change the direction of illumination.

Is the GU10 LED bulb included in the package?

No, the bulb is not included. A GU10 LED bulb of up to 5 W must be purchased separately before using the luminaire. Access for changing it is straightforward and does not require removing the stake from the ground.
