CUCA 650 is an outdoor spike light designed to be installed directly in the ground, intended for gardens, terraces and patios where lighting is part of the space's design. The black stainless steel arc structure holds a small opal glass ball that emits warm, concentrated light. At dusk, the structure visually disappears and only the points of light remain floating in space, as if they have no support. Installation and specifications

For installation, this spike is driven directly into the ground, with no additional base required. Before placing it, check that there are no buried cables or pipes in the anchoring area. If the ground is very hard or paved, it may be necessary to prepare a small hole to fix it securely. The electrical connection must be carried out by a certified electrician, as the wiring runs outdoors and must be protected in accordance with current regulations.

The black stainless steel finish withstands typical outdoor conditions well, but it is advisable to periodically check that there is no dirt buildup at the base or on the glass diffuser. To clean the opal glass ball, use a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that could damage the surface. Do not handle the lamp while the power is connected.

Design and use

The design of CUCA 650 starts from a clear idea: that the light source should appear independent of its support. The black stainless steel arc has a clean, unadorned shape that during the day works as a decorative element with its own presence in the garden or terrace. At dusk, when the LED spotlight begins to shine, the dark arc blends into the surroundings and the small opal glass sphere appears to be suspended in the air.

This visual play is what makes this outdoor luminaire different from the more common bollards or lanterns. It does not illuminate from above or project a wide beam like a floodlight: it generates a warm point of light at 2700 K, which provides atmosphere rather than functional brightness. It is the right lighting for marking pathways, highlighting areas of the garden or creating visual depth in a patio or terrace.

Being available in two heights opens up many compositional possibilities. By combining the two versions in groups of three or five units, a stepped effect is achieved that resembles a light installation more than a row of spikes. The 3 W COB LED light source is already included. No additional components need to be purchased to get the spike up and running.

What is the colour temperature of the light it emits and what effect does it produce outdoors?

The colour temperature is 2700 K, which corresponds to warm white light. Outdoors, this tone creates a calm and welcoming atmosphere, without the coldness of other higher colour temperatures.

Is it possible to combine the two available heights in the same garden or terrace installation?

Yes, and in fact that combination is part of the product concept. Mixing the two heights allows compositions to be created with different planes of light, generating a more dynamic visual effect than a uniform alignment.
