Design and use

The CUCA 1193 spike starts from a very specific idea: to make the light visible and the structure that holds it almost invisible. The black stainless steel arc has a very fine, linear profile, with a shape reminiscent of a semicircular arch. This geometry elevates the glass sphere and shifts it to one side, creating an interesting visual tension between the light point and the ground of the garden or terrace where it is installed.

At night, the effect changes completely. The lights appear to float in space without support, like small spotlights suspended at different heights. If several units of the two available heights are combined, this effect is multiplied and the garden or patio acquires a scenic depth that cannot be achieved with a conventional lantern or projector.

The opal glass diffuser sphere distributes light softly and evenly in all directions. The 2700K colour temperature produces a warm light, similar to that of a candle, which is neither harsh nor intrusive. It is the type of lighting that does not strain the eyes and adds warmth to the outdoor environment without causing glare.
