Installation and specifications

Design and use

The design of CUCA 1000 starts from a simple idea: that the luminaire should not be seen. The black stainless steel body blends in with the soil, the shrubs, and the dark background of any garden or terrace at night. What remains visible is only the opal glass lit from within, creating that floating light sensation described in the product sheet itself. It is not a difficult effect to achieve, but it is hard to replicate with a conventional lantern or spotlight that draws attention through its shape.

The height of 1000 mm places the light point at knee level, which is ideal for guiding movement without causing glare. On a garden path or at the edge of a terrace, that position makes the light functional without being harsh. Bollards at that height also work well for marking perimeters or separating zones in a larger patio.

The integrated COB LED light source emits at 2700K, a warm colour temperature close to that of a candle or a classic incandescent bulb. That tone does not distort the colours of plants, wood, or stone, but rather complements them. In a garden with varied vegetation, that warmth makes everything look better than with a cool or neutral light. The included light source means there is no need to search for compatible bulbs separately.

The stainless steel body provides solidity without adding excessive weight. The assembly weighs less than two kilograms, which makes positioning easier before the wiring is finalised. The lights can be repositioned without effort while the ground is not yet fully finished.

The black finish does not compete with materials such as gravel, polished concrete, or treated wood. It also fits naturally in a patio with Mediterranean plants or on a terrace with stone paving. Questions and answers

Does the stake include the cable or does it need to be purchased separately?

The product sheet does not specify that the cable is included. Since this is a 24V version, you will need a suitable transformer and outdoor wiring to complete the installation. We recommend consulting an electrician to ensure that the entire circuit is compatible.

Is the 2700K colour temperature suitable for illuminating a garden path?

Yes. 2700K corresponds to a warm light, similar to that of a traditional bulb. It is a tone that does not cause glare and is pleasant in outdoor night settings, especially in gardens or patios with vegetation, wood, or stone.

Does the 85x85 mm square cross-section affect stability in soft ground?

A square base distributes support evenly. In very soft or sandy ground it may be necessary to compact the area slightly before driving in the stake to ensure it remains vertical over time.
