Before installing the wall light, make sure the wall surface is clean, dry, and level. Design and use

The KOV wall light has an aluminium body with a white finish. Aluminium is a common material in outdoor luminaires because it withstands temperature changes well and does not rust easily. The white finish gives it a clean appearance that does not clash with light-clad facades or concrete or stone walls.

The lamp measures 212 mm high, 80 mm long, and 87 mm deep. These are compact dimensions, making it suitable for spaces where a large visual presence is not desired. Even so, with 2x6W of power in COB LED technology, it provides sufficient lighting for passageways, entrances, or frequently used terraces.

One of the most useful features of this wall light is the built-in drainage system. Outdoors, water can accumulate inside luminaires if they are not well designed, which accelerates deterioration. Here that problem is solved by design, without the user needing to do anything special.

The 3000K colour temperature produces a warm light, similar to that of a traditional incandescent bulb. This tone is pleasant in areas where people are present, such as a terrace or the entrance to a home. It is not a cold warehouse light nor an overly intense yellow light, but a middle point that is comfortable on the eye.

The 14º and 23º beam angles allow the direction of the light beam to be adjusted with precision. A narrower angle concentrates the light on a specific area, ideal for highlighting an architectural element or illuminating an access path. A wider angle distributes the light more broadly, useful when you want to cover a larger surface without installing multiple luminaires.

On a terrace, the wall light works well mounted at mid-height on the wall, projecting light downward onto the seating area. In a garden with a perimeter wall, it can be installed horizontally to create a continuous line of light. On the facade of a home, two units on either side of the main door provide a balanced presence without the need for a larger lantern.

The KOV wall light also fits in more technical or industrial environments where functionality is valued above decoration. Its geometric shape and the absence of decorative elements make it compatible with clean-lined architecture, metal cladding, or facades with a rough finish.

An external motion detector can complement the installation if an automatic sensor function is desired. The wall light itself does not include a motion sensor, but its compatibility with standard control systems allows it to be integrated into detector-equipped installations without difficulty.

Yes. The design of the wall light allows it to be mounted in both orientations on the wall. The choice depends on the lighting effect desired and the layout of the space.

What is the difference between the two available beam angles, 14º and 23º?

The 14º angle concentrates the light beam more on a small area, while the 23º angle distributes it more broadly. Each angle directs light one upward and one downward, allowing effects to be combined in the same lamp.

Is the COB LED light source included with the wall light?

Yes, the lamp is supplied with the COB LED light source already incorporated, ready to install and connect to the 220V-240V electrical supply.
