Installation and specifications

For installation, this wall light is fixed directly to the wall using the anchor points included in the base. Before mounting the lamp, make sure the electrical support is prepared for outdoor use and that the circuit is de-energised. It is recommended that installation be carried out by an electrician, especially if there is no pre-existing junction box at the mounting point. The wiring must be protected and not exposed to the elements.

To keep the wall light in good condition, simply clean the aluminium body with a damp cloth and no abrasive products. The glass can be cleaned with water and a little mild glass cleaner. Avoid directing pressurised water jets at the electrical connection area. Do not handle the light source when the wall light has been on for a short time, as it may be hot.

Design and use

The lamp is constructed from die-cast aluminium, a material that withstands temperature variations, humidity and prolonged exposure to outdoor environments well. It is not a material that requires constant attention: periodic cleaning is sufficient to keep the finish in good condition for years. The oxide brown colour is not just an aesthetic choice. That earthy tone integrates easily in outdoor settings with vegetation, in gardens with stone paving, in entrances with wood cladding or on facades with a Mediterranean style.

The transparent glass diffuser allows light to pass through without filtering it excessively. This means the LED spotlight illuminates the area to be highlighted clearly, without losing intensity or creating a vague, undefined diffuse effect. The colour temperature of 3000K produces a warm light, similar to that of a traditional incandescent bulb, which makes the exterior look welcoming when the sun goes down in the afternoon or when dawn breaks before the sun rises.

The directional fins are one of the most practical elements of this wall light. Depending on how they are oriented, the light can be directed upwards, downwards or at an intermediate angle. This opens up several possibilities: illuminating a house number, marking the path of a garden walkway, highlighting the texture of a stone wall or simply providing functional light at the entrance without dazzling those who arrive. This is no minor detail for an outdoor wall light, as many models do not allow any kind of adjustment once mounted.

The wall light's size is compact. At 165 mm in height and 105 mm in length, it does not take up too much space on the wall or draw excessive attention. Questions and answers

Can the directional fins of the wall light be adjusted after installation, or does the lamp need to be dismounted to change the direction of the beam?

The fins can be oriented without needing to dismantle the entire wall light. Simply access them directly to adjust the angle of the light beam as needed, without affecting the wiring or the wall mounting.

Can the transparent glass diffuser break due to door movement or wind if the wall light is near an entrance?

The glass is securely fixed to the aluminium body. It is not a loose element that could be affected by air movement or by the vibrations typical of an entrance. Even so, it is advisable to install it in a location where there is no risk of direct impact.

Does the oxide brown finish of the wall light withstand prolonged sun exposure well without losing its colour?

The die-cast aluminium with an oxide brown colour finish is treated to withstand sun exposure and the usual outdoor conditions. With periodic cleaning and without the use of aggressive products, the finish remains stable over time.
