Overview

The FARO wall light is a lamp designed for outdoor use. It is installed directly on the wall and provides adjustable lighting thanks to its directable fins, allowing you to adjust the light beam as needed — whether to illuminate a specific area or to create a more decorative effect.

It is a wall light that works well at entrances, terraces, gardens or facades where a fixed, discreet light source with some control over the beam direction is desired. The matte white body fits seamlessly with neutral finishes, and the transparent glass diffuser allows light to pass through directly.

FARO is a Spanish brand with years of experience in indoor and outdoor luminaires. Their products are aimed at residential use and are distinguished by combining functionality with a restrained design, without excesses.

Installation and specifications

Before installing this wall light, make sure the surface is dry and free of cracks. The fixture connects directly to the electrical mains, so it is recommended that installation be carried out by a qualified electrician. Check that the outdoor wiring is protected and compatible with the indicated voltage (220V–240V). Do not carry out installation with the power connected.

For maintenance, clean the aluminium body with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that may damage the matte white finish. The glass diffuser can be cleaned with a dry cloth to remove accumulated dust. Periodically check that the wall light is securely fixed to the wall, especially after periods of heavy rain or wind.

Design and use

The body of this wall light is made from die-cast aluminium, a resistant material that handles outdoor conditions well — temperature changes, humidity and prolonged sun exposure. The matte white finish is uniform and does not reflect excessively, giving it a neat appearance both during the day and at night. It is a wall light that does not draw too much attention during daylight hours, but fulfils its function once night falls.

The diffuser is made of transparent glass, which means the light from the fixture is not filtered or softened: it comes out direct. This, combined with the directable fins, makes this wall light a lamp with more possibilities than it appears. You can direct the beam downward to illuminate the floor of a terrace, toward a plant or decorative element in the garden, or simply let the light fall naturally on the wall.

The colour temperature is 3000K, which corresponds to warm light. It is neither white nor cold — it has that soft amber tone that is more pleasant in residential outdoor settings. It is the type of light that does not strain the eyes and creates a calm atmosphere, without that feeling of being under an office spotlight.

The light source is a COB LED of 2x3W, already included in the wall light. There is no need to purchase any additional bulb. The LED has low consumption for the amount of light it produces, which is an advantage in a lamp that may be on for several hours a day.

This wall light fits well in environments where the design is sober and functional. It combines with light facades, stone or light brick cladding, and with window or door frames painted in neutral tones. It also works well in interior courtyards with outdoor access, in gardens with spot lighting, or on outdoor staircases where a stable, directed light source is needed.

Although it does not incorporate a motion sensor or presence detector, it can easily be combined with a dusk switch or external timer. This way, the wall light can switch on automatically at nightfall without the need for manual intervention, which is practical at entrances or access points used daily. If you decide in the future to incorporate a basic automation system outdoors, this wall light is perfectly compatible with that type of installation.

The compact format — 140 mm high, 145 mm wide and 145 mm deep — makes it suitable for spaces where there is not much room. It does not take up more than necessary and does not cast unwanted shadows on the wall surface.

Questions and answers

Do the fins on the wall light allow the beam to be directed in any direction?

The fins are directable, which allows the beam orientation to be adjusted within the range of movement offered by their design. This provides some flexibility to decide whether the light points toward the floor, toward a specific element or toward the wall.

Is the included LED lamp replaceable if it stops working?

The wall light includes a COB LED light source of 2x3W. If you have questions about replacement on your specific model, consult the manufacturer's documentation or contact our customer service before carrying out any work.

Does this outdoor wall light withstand direct exposure to sun and rain?

The body is made from die-cast aluminium, a material that tolerates outdoor conditions well. For specific information on the recommended IP protection rating for your installation, consult the official product data sheet or contact us.
