Design and use

The GRANT-R wall light is a compact lamp designed for outdoor spaces where visual signalling is sought rather than intense illumination. It works well as an orientation light on garden paths, house entrances, outdoor staircases or terrace corridors. Its size of 125 x 125 x 25 mm allows it to be placed in small spaces without appearing bulky.

The dark grey ABS body withstands the passage of time outdoors. It does not rust, requires no additional treatments and maintains its appearance without deformation under temperature variations. The transparent polycarbonate diffuser protects the light source and allows the LED light to be distributed directly outward, without filters or decorative effects that would alter the main function of the wall light.

The colour temperature of 3000K produces a warm light. In a garden or terrace, this translates into lighting that does not distort the colours of plants or floor materials. Warm light is also more welcoming at nighttime entrances than cool light, without the need to resort to a higher-power spotlight.

Does the GRANT-R wall light include an integrated motion sensor?

No, this wall lamp does not incorporate a motion sensor. If you wish to activate the light via detection, it is possible to connect a compatible external detector in the electrical circuit before installation.

What level of protection does it offer against direct rain?

The wall light has an IP65 rating, which means it is protected against water jets from any direction and against the entry of solid particles. It is suitable for outdoor installation without the need to add any additional cover.

Is the 1W SMD LED light source sufficient to illuminate a terrace or garden?

The lamp is designed for outdoor signalling illumination, not for lighting large surfaces. On a terrace, in a garden or at wall accesses, it fulfils its orientation function with warm light at 3000K. For areas requiring a higher luminous level, it is advisable to combine it with other luminaires.
