Installation and specifications

Design and use

The SETH 280 is an LED stake designed for those who want to add visual presence to their garden without resorting to eye-catching solutions. It is a ground spotlight that works quietly: you install it, you turn it on, and the light does the rest.

The aluminium body gives it solidity without adding unnecessary weight. The stake weighs just over half a kilogram, making it easy to place even in soft ground. The matte black colour of the outer body integrates well with different types of paving: gravel, natural stone, concrete, or compacted earth. During the day it is barely noticeable. At nightfall, the 2700K light beam projects a warm tone reminiscent of incandescent light, without the energy consumption that entails.

With 450 lumens and 6 watts, this spotlight is not intended to illuminate walkways or replace a higher-powered lantern. Its function is decorative: to accentuate textures, shapes, and volumes in the garden or patio. Aimed at the base of a tree, it creates a pool of light that adds depth to the space. Is the 40° beam angle suitable for illuminating large plants or trees?

A 40° angle concentrates the beam in a relatively narrow area, which is ideal for highlighting specific elements from close range. For large trees or very leafy plants, it may be necessary to use more than one stake to cover the volume well. For medium-sized objects or typical garden plants, a single unit is usually sufficient.

Does the aluminium body with a matte black finish require any special treatment to remain in good condition outdoors?

No additional treatments are required. It is enough to clean the surface from time to time with a soft, slightly damp cloth to remove accumulated dust or dirt. It is advisable to avoid products with acidic or abrasive components, as they can affect the matte finish over time.
