Preparation for installation and assembly. This stake is fixed directly into the ground without the need for complex additional anchoring. It operates with a 24VDC transformer that must be installed separately. Before placing it, it is advisable to plan the underground cable routing to keep the exterior tidy and avoid visible cables. It is recommended that the electrical installation be carried out by a qualified professional, especially if it involves a new circuit.

Usage and care guidelines. The aluminium surface with rust brown finish can be cleaned with a damp cloth and neutral soap. Do not use abrasive products or solvents that may damage the coating. Periodically check that the stake remains well set in the ground, especially after heavy rain or soil movement. Do not cover the luminaire with materials that prevent heat dissipation.

Design and use

The CLAP 1030 stake by FARO has a height of 630 mm, which positions it at the level of low vegetation or at the height of kerbs and paths. This proportion allows the projector integrated in the upper part to work without obstacles, sending the light beam upward or diagonally depending on the orientation chosen at the time of installation. The 38° angle defines a well-delimited cone of illumination, useful when you want to highlight a specific element without flooding the entire surrounding area.

The body is made of aluminium, a material that combines lightness with resistance to outdoor conditions. The rust brown finish is not simply an aesthetic choice: this earthy tone allows the stake to blend in with the soil, gravel or aged wood commonly found in rustic or Mediterranean-style gardens. During the day, the luminaire goes unnoticed among the vegetation. When night falls, the LED spotlight transforms the space.

The colour temperature of 3000K produces a warm white light that is not harsh. It is the type of lighting that makes a terrace or patio look welcoming after sunset. Cool lights tend to give a more industrial or clinical appearance; lights that are too yellow can seem outdated. Two 6W COB LED modules are integrated directly into the luminaire. The light source is included, so there is no need to search for compatible bulbs or adapt lamp holders.

The 24VDC voltage means the stake operates on low-voltage current. This is common in modern garden installations, where bollards or stakes are connected in series to a central transformer. This type of system is safer in humid outdoor environments and allows the installation to be expanded by adding more light points without changing the main wiring.

The CLAP 1030 fits well in gardens with stone or gravel paths, next to flower beds, at the base of medium-sized trees or shrubs, or marking the perimeter of a rest area in the patio. It can also be used on terraces with wooden or slab flooring, provided there is space to anchor the stake. In larger installations, several units can be combined to create a continuous line of lighting that guides the visual or pedestrian route.

Yes. The stake operates on low-voltage current at 24VDC and requires a compatible external transformer. This transformer is not included and must be purchased separately. It is common in garden installations with several luminaires connected in a circuit.

Is the 38° angle adjustable or fixed once the stake is installed?

The 38° angle is the beam angle of the spotlight, not an electronically adjustable parameter. However, the physical orientation of the stake when driven into the ground allows the beam to be directed towards the element you wish to illuminate.

Does the aluminium body with rust brown finish require any additional treatment to maintain its appearance outdoors?

No special treatments are required. Aluminium is naturally resistant to oxidation, and the rust brown finish is designed to withstand outdoor conditions. It is sufficient to clean it occasionally with a damp cloth to remove accumulated dust or dirt.
