Installation and specifications

The recessed fixture requires a prior installation box in the wall where the connection box will be housed. Design and use

The STRIPE wall light by FARO addresses a specific need: illuminating the exterior of a home in an integrated way, without the luminaire taking up space or drawing too much attention to itself. By recessing into the wall, the result is a clean line on the surface, with light projected outward without the body of the fixture protruding conspicuously.

The aluminium body in dark grey adapts well to façades in neutral colours, stone cladding, exposed concrete or modern stucco finishes. It is not a decorative wall light in the ornamental sense, but one that fulfils its function without ostentation. In a garden, at the entrance of a home or next to a patio, it becomes part of the whole without imposing itself.

The polycarbonate diffuser with an opal finish distributes light evenly. Does the STRIPE luminaire withstand direct rain or only splashes?

The wall light has IP54 protection, which means it resists water projections from any direction, including moderate rain. It is not designed to be submerged or to receive direct pressurised water jets, but for typical residential outdoor use, that protection is sufficient.

Is it necessary to purchase the light source separately?

No. The STRIPE recessed fixture includes the integrated SMD LED light source. It is not necessary to purchase any additional bulb or make any adaptations before installing it.

Can the dark grey aluminium body change shade over time due to outdoor exposure?

The dark grey aluminium finish is designed to withstand typical outdoor conditions. With periodic cleaning using a dry or slightly damp cloth, the colour remains stable. Avoid abrasive products that may alter the surface of the body.
