Installation and specifications

To install this wall light, an external driver compatible with 24V DC is required, which is not included with the product. Before starting the installation, make sure you have the appropriate driver and always work with the power switched off. The recessed light is mounted on a wall or facade surface; it is advisable to prepare the recess with the correct dimensions according to the indicated measurements. It is recommended that installation be carried out by a qualified electrician, especially in garden areas or exposed outdoor locations.

For maintenance of the stainless steel body, simply clean the surface with a damp cloth without abrasive products. The transparent glass can be cleaned in the same way. Avoid contact with aggressive chemical products that may damage the satin finish. Periodically check the condition of the light, especially if it is exposed to salty or high-humidity environments.

Design and use

The KANE 3 is a small-format recessed light designed to integrate into outdoor wall surfaces. Its compact dimensions, 45 mm per side and 90 mm in depth, allow it to be installed in spaces where a conventional spotlight or wall light would take up too much room. The square silhouette and satin stainless finish give it a contemporary look that fits well on both modern facades and stone or brick walls with a more austere treatment.

The main material is 316L stainless steel, a variant particularly resistant to oxidation and corrosion. It is the same type of steel used in marine or industrial environments, making it suitable for coastal areas or those with high humidity. The structure is solid yet very lightweight, at under 200 grams, which simplifies wall mounting.

The transparent glass diffuser does not alter the color of the light or disperse it excessively. This allows the beam of light to reach clearly the point to be illuminated, whether it is the ground in front of an entrance, an outdoor staircase, or an architectural detail on the facade. The 3W COB LED lamp at 2700K produces a warm light, similar to candlelight but more stable, which does not create the cold or bluish effect that can be uncomfortable in residential spaces.

This wall light works well at main entrances, where localized wall lighting helps with orientation without the need to install a larger spotlight or luminaire. It can also be used on garden paths, on the sides of a terrace, or in any walkway that needs grazing light on the wall. Questions and answers

Does the KANE 3 require an external driver or does it have a built-in converter?

The driver is not included. The wall light operates at 24V DC, so it is necessary to purchase an external driver compatible with that voltage before proceeding with installation.

Is the 316L stainless steel body suitable for areas close to the sea or with high humidity?

Yes. 316L stainless steel has superior corrosion resistance compared to standard steel, making it especially suitable for coastal environments or those with high levels of ambient humidity.

Does the recessed light include any detection system such as a motion sensor?

No. The KANE 3 does not incorporate a motion sensor or any integrated detection system. If such functionality is desired, it must be combined with an external detector compatible with the installation.
