Installation and specifications

The floor lamp is fixed directly to the ground. Before installation, check that the surface is level and that there is access to the electrical network at the anchoring point. The wiring must run inside or protected underground. It is recommended that installation be carried out by a qualified electrician, especially in outdoor installations where the lighting is exposed to changing conditions.

The aluminium body requires no special maintenance. Clean the polycarbonate diffuser with a damp cloth and neutral detergent when you notice dirt build-up. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that may scratch the surface. Periodically check the base connections to ensure there is no accumulated moisture, although IP65 protection already covers this risk under normal conditions of use.

Design and use

The SCREEN floor lamp stands out for its clean, well-proportioned profile. The dark grey body integrates well in modern environments, but also blends into more traditional spaces. It does not compete visually with its surroundings: it simply fulfils its function.

The transparent polycarbonate diffuser reveals the LED module inside and distributes light evenly towards the ground and surroundings. This is especially useful on garden paths, pedestrian accesses or transit areas where uneven lighting creates annoying shadows. The 360-degree distribution option allows light to reach all directions equally, covering the complete perimeter around the post. The wide variant extends the projection angle and allows light to reach areas further from the installation point.

The 4000K colour temperature places this floor lamp in a neutral range: neither the warmth of amber light nor the coldness of bluish-white light. It is the type of light that does not cause eye fatigue and renders the colours of the surroundings well, making it suitable for both residential use and semi-public spaces.

The included COB LED source operates at a maximum power of 38W and accepts voltages between 100V and 240V, simplifying installation in any type of domestic or urban lighting electrical network. There is no need to adapt the installation to the local voltage.

The aluminium body is corrosion-resistant and maintains its finish even after seasons of rain or frost. The polycarbonate diffuser does not yellow over time in the same way as acrylic, extending the service life of the unit without the need to replace parts.

This floor lamp fits well in private gardens with paths or terrace areas, but also in building entrances or communal areas of residential developments. The 3.7-metre scale places it in an intermediate lighting range: above low garden bollards and below large-scale urban lighting poles. This proportion makes it useful when a wide vertical coverage is needed without installing a large-scale luminaire.

In combination with other luminaires from the SCREEN collection — bollards, wall lights or shorter lanterns — it allows a coherent and well-integrated outdoor lighting system to be created. It is not a solar lamp, nor a rechargeable lamp: it operates connected to the mains, which guarantees constant availability without depending on weather conditions for recharging. It does not incorporate a motion sensor either, so switching control depends on the automation system or the installation switch. The structure without rechargeable or solar elements ensures stable performance throughout the night.

Does the floor lamp include the light source or does it need to be purchased separately?

The 38W COB LED light source is included. It does not need to be purchased separately or require any additional adaptations before installation.

What is the difference between the 360º option and the wide variant of this floor lamp?

The 360º option distributes light symmetrically in all directions around the post, ideal for illuminating circular areas or path junctions. The wide variant projects light over a greater horizontal distance, which is useful for long paths or areas where lateral reach is needed.

Is the IP65 protection level sufficient for climates with frequent and heavy rainfall?

Yes. IP65 implies total protection against dust and against pressurised water jets from any direction. It is suitable for exposed outdoor installations, including areas with regular rainfall or nearby garden irrigation.
