Overview

The RUSH floor lamp by FARO is an outdoor luminaire designed to illuminate gardens, parks, and access areas where a constant and uniform light distribution is needed. At a height of 3.7 meters, it covers large areas without leaving any shadowed spots. It is an option designed for those looking for a durable, hassle-free lighting solution.

The RUSH collection combines aluminum and polycarbonate in its structure, giving it resistance to impacts and adverse weather conditions. With IP65 certification, this outdoor floor lamp withstands direct rain and suspended solid particles. The IK10 protection level ensures that the body can absorb impacts without deforming or deteriorating. The included COB LED lamp operates at 2700K, a warm color temperature that creates a pleasant atmosphere at dusk.

FARO is a brand with extensive experience in residential and outdoor lighting. Its products combine technical criteria with a sober design that fits well in contemporary environments as well as in more classic spaces.

Installation and specifications

To install this outdoor floor lamp in the ground, it is necessary to prepare a firm anchor base, either through a concrete foundation or a recessed fixing system compatible with the post. Since the luminaire reaches 3.7 meters in height, it is important that the anchor point is perfectly leveled before securing it. The electrical installation must be carried out by a qualified professional. The wiring must be protected and buried up to the connection point. Check that the installation voltage is compatible with the 100V to 240V range indicated in the specifications.

To keep the floor lamp in good condition, clean the outer surface with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that could damage the dark grey finish or the polycarbonate diffuser. Periodically check the condition of the anchor and electrical connections, especially after periods of heavy rain or strong wind.

Design and use

The RUSH floor lamp has a simple and functional design that does not distract from the surroundings. The aluminum body with a dark grey finish integrates effortlessly into modern gardens, but also complements spaces with dense vegetation or more rustic passageways. The transparent polycarbonate diffuser allows the warm light emitted by the LED to project clearly, without filters that reduce intensity or alter color.

One of the distinctive features of this collection is the availability of different light distribution options. The 360º variant offers symmetrical illumination in all directions, ideal for open areas where you want to cover the space in a balanced way, such as the center of a garden or an interior courtyard. The wide variant, on the other hand, allows light to be projected over greater distances, which is useful on paths, entrances, or elongated areas where reach matters more than circular uniformity.

Private garden lighting is one of the most common uses for this floor lamp. Placed in the center of a green space or alongside a path, it marks the visual route without overwhelming the atmosphere. The warm 2700K light encourages that sense of calm sought in outdoor spaces at dusk. It is not a cold or clinical light, but one that accompanies without intruding.

In community parks or gardens of residential buildings, this type of outdoor floor lamp provides continuity to the general lighting. Its IK10 impact resistance makes it suitable for transit areas, where it may receive accidental impacts without compromising its operation. The IP65 protection ensures that rain, even during prolonged episodes, does not affect the interior of the luminaire.

A motion sensor is not part of this luminaire, but its installation alongside external control systems is possible thanks to compatibility with a wide voltage range. This allows it to be integrated into installations that already have detection sensors or timers, without needing to change the existing wiring.

The included COB LED lamp simplifies setup from day one. There is no need to purchase or source a separate light source. The LED module offers a maximum power of 38 W, sufficient to effectively illuminate the surroundings of a floor lamp at that height.

The dark grey finish of the body is discreet and shows little visual wear over time. It does not visibly accumulate dust or lose its appearance with exposure to the elements. In combination with other outdoor elements in neutral tones, such as dark wood pergolas, stone paving, or terraces with anthracite furniture, the floor lamp fits in without the need for additional adjustments.
