Installation and specifications

For installation, it is important to verify that the wall surface is clean, level and capable of supporting the anchor. As this is an outdoor luminaire, it is recommended that the wiring be protected with a conduit or corrugated tube suitable for outdoor use. The connection must be made with the power switched off. If you do not have experience with electrical installations, the safest option is to have an electrician do it.

To clean the projector body, use a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that could damage the black aluminium finish. The transparent glass of the diffuser can accumulate dust over time; cleaning it regularly helps maintain the quality of the light beam. Do not handle the luminaire with the power connected.

Design and use

The PUK spotlight has an aluminium body in a matt black finish that looks discreet on almost any surface: brick, concrete, treated wood or modern cladding. Its compact form, with a diameter of Ø59 mm, prevents the luminaire from visually dominating the space. When switched off, it is barely noticeable. When switched on, the work is visible in what it illuminates, not in the fixture itself.

The integrated COB LED light source emits at 2700K, a warm colour temperature that enhances natural finishes and textured surfaces. This type of light gives stone floors, exposed brick facades or tree bark greater depth and presence. It is the kind of lighting that turns a garden or courtyard into a space that is a pleasure to see at night.

The 50° angle is a useful middle ground: concentrated enough to highlight specific elements, but with sufficient spread to avoid creating an excessively hard point of light. The built-in goniometer allows the orientation of the projector to be adjusted after installation, which is appreciated when the angle needs to be fine-tuned without dismantling the piece. Many outdoor projectors do not include this option, which requires more precise calculations during mounting.

The aluminium body offers good resistance to typical weather conditions and, in particular, to saline environments. This makes it suitable for installations near the sea or in areas with a high concentration of salt in the air, where other materials tend to degrade more quickly. In a home near the coast, choosing a projector with this feature considerably extends its useful life.

The PUK family is designed to work both as a single element and as part of a group. A single spotlight can be placed to highlight the entrance of a home, or several distributed along a path, on the ground or on side walls, to create a continuous line of light. Wall mounting allows the beam to point downwards, upwards or diagonally depending on the desired effect.

This projector is compatible with a range of accessories that expand its possibilities. The visor (ref. 75302V) reduces lateral glare, useful when the spotlight is at eye level. The honeycomb accessory (ref. 75302H) acts as an anti-parallax grille and concentrates the direction of the beam. The stake (ref. 75302S) allows the projector to be fixed directly into the ground, without the need for a wall, ideal for illuminating plants or shrubs from below. The tree-mounting accessory (ref. 75300F) opens up another possibility: anchoring the spotlight directly onto the trunk or a branch, which gives a great deal of positioning freedom in a garden.

The 12.5 W consumption is reasonable for continuous outdoor use. At 2700K, the warm light emitted by this projector is less aggressive to the surroundings than cooler colour temperatures, and creates a more welcoming atmosphere on terraces or private entrances.
