Installation and specifications

Preparation and installation. This floor lamp is fixed in the ground, so before installing it, check that the terrain is level and firm enough to support the pole. The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified professional, in accordance with current local regulations. The wiring must be protected underground from the supply point to the base of the luminaire. Before any electrical work, make sure the power supply is switched off.

Use and maintenance. Although the floor lamp has IP65 protection, it is not advisable to direct pressurised water directly onto the joints or the base. To clean the surface, a damp cloth and, if necessary, a mild detergent are sufficient. Avoid abrasive products that may damage the aluminium finish or the PC diffuser. Periodically check the condition of the base and anchors, especially after periods of rain or frost.

Design and use

The SCREEN floor lamp is part of a technical outdoor lighting collection. The entire range is built on a simple premise: to offer functional, well-protected light that is easy to integrate into different types of space. This reflects FARO's work as a manufacturer: no superfluous elements, only what is needed for the product to work well for years.

The body is made of aluminium, a material that tolerates outdoor conditions well without warping or rusting. The diffuser is made of transparent polycarbonate, allowing light to be distributed clearly. The 4000K tone is a neutral white, neither too warm nor too cold, which is useful in gardens, paths and park areas where visibility is sought without creating an overly clinical atmosphere.

COB LED technology ensures uniform emission. Unlike multi-point modules, COB concentrates the source in a single area, reducing irregular shadows and improving lighting quality. The floor lamp includes the light source installed, so there is no need to search for or purchase anything separately before installation.

The 360º variant distributes light symmetrically in all directions. This is useful when the floor lamp is in the centre of a space, such as a small square or the intersection of two paths in a large garden. The wide variant, on the other hand, projects light further laterally, which is more suitable for illuminating long paths or perimeters. The CASAMBI version allows the luminaire to be integrated into smart management systems, although its basic operation does not depend on that connectivity.

The IK10 impact resistance rating means it withstands impacts that other domestic luminaires would not. In a garden with children, in a heavily used park or simply in a walkway where accidental knocks may occur, that makes a difference. IP65 protection covers against direct rain and the ingress of dust and solid bodies, making this floor lamp a suitable option for varied climates.

The COB LED light source is included and comes installed from the factory. No additional components need to be purchased before commissioning. Only the electrical connection to the mains supply is required.
