The 180º version projects light asymmetrically, meaning only in one direction rather than in a full circle. It is useful when the street light is installed at the boundary of an area and you want to avoid illuminating the opposite side.

Does the IK10 rating also protect the polycarbonate diffuser?

Yes. The IK10 rating applies to the luminaire as a whole, including the diffuser. It indicates that the component can withstand impacts of a certain intensity without breaking, which adds safety in spaces with greater foot traffic.
