Overview

The FARO RUSH 3700 lamp post is an outdoor luminaire designed to illuminate gardens, parks and open spaces where uniform and long-lasting lighting is needed. With a height of 3.7 metres, it covers a wide area without creating annoying shadows. The 360º distribution option allows light to spread symmetrically in all directions, making it a practical solution for paths, squares or green areas for residential use.

The body is made of aluminium and polycarbonate, materials that combine strength and lightness. The IP65 rating protects the luminaire against rain and dust ingress, so it works without issue in typical weather conditions. The IK10 impact resistance level adds extra protection against accidental knocks, which is appreciated in frequently used spaces.

FARO is a Spanish company with decades of experience in technical and decorative lighting. Its outdoor products combine performance criteria with attention to finish, considering both functionality and the visual appearance of the environment.

Installation and specifications

Preparation and installation: this lamp post is fixed directly to the ground. Before installing it, it is necessary to prepare an adequate foundation to support the 3.7-metre vertical structure. It is recommended to have a certified electrician carry out the connection to the 220V-240V mains supply. Check that the installation point has no underground cables or pipes before carrying out any excavation.

Use and maintenance: clean the surface of the body and the diffuser with a damp cloth and a mild detergent. Avoid abrasive products that may damage the dark grey finish or the transparent polycarbonate. Periodically check the condition of the ground fixing to ensure the structure remains stable.

Design and use

The RUSH 3700 lamp post is part of FARO's technical outdoor lighting collection, designed for environments where durability and performance are basic requirements. Its aluminium structure provides rigidity without adding excessive weight, and the transparent polycarbonate diffuser allows the projected light to reach the ground clearly, without distortion or loss of intensity.

The colour temperature of 3000K produces a warm light that integrates well in gardens and parks, where the aim is to create a calm atmosphere at night. Unlike cold light, this 3000K tone is not visually aggressive and favours the kind of lighting that does not disturb the rest of those who live near the illuminated space.

The 360º option on this lamp post ensures there are no dark areas around the pole. It is especially useful on pedestrian paths or central garden squares, where light must reach from any angle. This type of symmetrical distribution avoids the need to install several luminaires to cover the same area, which simplifies both installation and electricity consumption.

The dark grey finish gives the lamp post a discreet presence in the environment. It does not compete visually with the landscape during the day and, at night, the lantern becomes the centrepiece of the outdoor space. This tone works well with stone pavements, concrete kerbs or plant surfaces, without looking out of place in the surroundings.

The CASAMBI version allows the lamp post to be controlled wirelessly using advanced home automation technology. This makes it possible to adjust the light level, create time-based schedules or integrate the luminaire into a smart lighting system without needing to modify the existing wiring. For those renovating or equipping a private garden, this option adds convenience and long-term energy savings.

The IP65 rating ensures that neither rainwater nor dust affects the internal operation of the lamp. The IK10 impact resistance level adds protection against knocks, which is relevant in spaces with pedestrian traffic or areas where there may be sporting or children's activity nearby.

The included COB LED light source operates at 38W and is designed to provide efficient lighting over time. LED technology reduces consumption compared to traditional solutions and does not require frequent replacements. For spaces such as residential gardens or community parks, this represents a practical advantage that is noticeable in the electricity bill and in maintenance.

As for combining with other outdoor elements, this lamp post works well alongside wall luminaires or ground-mounted lights from the same RUSH collection, creating a cohesive set. It can also be integrated into projects that combine different types of solar or spot lighting, as long as the colour tone is consistent with the 3000K of this pole lamp post.

Questions and answers

What level of protection does this lamp post offer against rain and dust?

The RUSH 3700 lamp post has an IP65 rating, which means it is completely protected against dust ingress and resistant to water jets from any direction. It is suitable for outdoor installation without the need for additional protection.

Is the LED light source included with the product or does it need to be purchased separately?

The COB-type LED lamp is included with the lamp post. It operates at a power of 38W and a colour temperature of 3000K, so there is no need to purchase any additional components for the luminaire to function.

What does it mean that this lamp post has the 360º lighting option?

The 360º distribution means that light is projected symmetrically in all directions around the pole. This allows a complete circular area to be illuminated from a single installation point, with no shadowed zones, which is especially useful in gardens or pedestrian paths.
