Overview

The RUSH floor lamp by FARO is an outdoor luminaire designed to illuminate gardens, parks and open spaces where stable, long-lasting light is needed. With a height of 3.1 metres, it covers large areas without leaving dark spots. It is a floor lamp designed for permanent in-ground installations, both in residential environments and in areas of public use.

The RUSH collection combines aluminium and polycarbonate in its construction, making it resistant to impacts, rain and dust. The IP65 rating ensures that water and solid bodies do not compromise its operation. The IK10 grade indicates the maximum resistance to mechanical impacts. These qualities mean that this outdoor floor lamp maintains its performance even in demanding weather conditions.

FARO is a Spanish brand with decades of experience in technical and decorative lighting. Its outdoor collection brings together products focused on durability and efficiency, with careful finishes and solutions adapted to different environments.

Installation and specifications

For installation, it is necessary to prepare an anchor base in firm ground that supports the 3.1-metre pole. It is recommended to have an electrician handle the connection to the 220V-240V mains. Before starting assembly, verify that the electricity supply is switched off. Make sure the installation area is level to avoid deviations in the verticality of the floor lamp.

To clean the surface, use a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that could damage the dark grey finish or the polycarbonate diffuser. Periodically check the anchors and the sealing of the joints to keep the IP65 protection in good condition.

Design and use

The RUSH outdoor floor lamp is part of a technical lighting collection created for open-air installations that demand both durability and good luminous performance. Its aluminium structure provides solidity without adding unnecessary weight, while the polycarbonate diffuser ensures uniform light transmission in all conditions.

The design of this garden floor lamp is clean and unadorned. The dark grey finish integrates well in both natural environments and urban paving. It is not visually intrusive during the day, and at night it fulfils its function of illuminating without creating harsh contrasts or glare zones.

The 38W 2700K COB LED light source emits a warm tone reminiscent of the traditional light of old street lamps. This tone favours the perception of the outdoor space without generating cold or industrial lighting. It is a type of lighting that is pleasant in passageways, private gardens, building entrances or pedestrian avenues.

The 360º version of this floor lamp offers a symmetric distribution of light around the pole, making it a suitable option for the centre of squares or path crossings in parks. The wide variant, on the other hand, projects light over a greater horizontal distance, making it more suitable for illuminating streets or long pathways where more surface area needs to be covered with fewer light points.

Compatibility with the CASAMBI system allows this floor lamp to be integrated into smart control networks without the need for additional wiring for management. From an application, it is possible to adjust light levels or programme operating schedules, which facilitates both energy savings and the adaptation of the lighting to different needs throughout the day or night.

The IP65 rating protects the interior of the luminaire against water ingress from any direction and against dust and solid particles. This makes it suitable for coastal areas, regions with frequent rainfall or environments with heavy vegetation around them. The IK10 resistance adds a layer of security against accidental impacts, something particularly valued in public-use spaces or gardens with frequent activity.

This outdoor floor lamp can be combined with other elements from the RUSH collection to achieve visual consistency throughout the installation. It also fits with wall or ground luminaires of sober lines, without needing to be from the same manufacturer. In gardens, the warm LED tone complements the green of the vegetation and natural materials such as stone or wood.

The motion sensor is not included in this version, but compatibility with CASAMBI allows automatic switching on and off to be programmed according to defined schedules. For those looking for a rechargeable system or one with an integrated motion sensor, this floor lamp is not the right option, as it operates connected to the mains electricity supply in a fixed manner.

Questions and answers

Does the RUSH floor lamp include the light source or does it need to be purchased separately?

The 38W COB LED light source is included. It is not necessary to purchase any additional components for the floor lamp to function.

What is the difference between the 360º version and the wide variant of this floor lamp?

The 360º version distributes light symmetrically around the pole, covering the space in all directions equally. The wide variant projects light over a greater distance, which is useful for illuminating pathways or larger surfaces with a single light point.

Is this floor lamp compatible with smart control systems?

Yes, this version includes compatibility with the CASAMBI system, which allows the switching on, switching off and light levels to be managed from an application, without the need for additional control wiring installation.
