Installation and specifications

Preparation for installation. This lamp is fixed to the ground, so it is advisable to plan the cable routing before installing it. As this is an outdoor luminaire, the cable must be protected using a buried corrugated conduit or a channel suitable for outdoor use. The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified professional. Check that the mains voltage matches the range indicated on the lamp before connecting it.

Use and care. The aluminium body and transparent polycarbonate diffuser require no special maintenance. To clean the surface, use a damp cloth without abrasive products. Do not direct jets of water directly onto the joints or the base. Periodically check that the ground fixing remains secure, especially after periods of heavy rain or frost.

Design and use

The RUSH 800 is part of a technical outdoor lighting collection. The design is clean and functional: a vertical body with a square cross-section in a dark grey finish that blends well in both modern gardens and more natural settings. The height of 800 mm positions it at a distance from the ground that projects light exactly where it is most needed, without glare and without excessive upward light loss.

The main material is aluminium, which provides mechanical strength without adding excessive weight. The diffuser is made of transparent polycarbonate, allowing the LED light to pass through without filters that would alter the tone. The colour temperature of 3000K produces a warm light, similar to that of a flame, which is pleasant outdoors at dusk. It is the type of lighting that makes a garden or patio look inviting without the need for large installations.

The COB LED light source is already included. There is no need to find a compatible bulb or make any additional adjustments before start-up. The integrated LED consumes a maximum of 20W, which represents very moderate consumption for a beacon of this height.

The IP65 protection means the lamp is sealed against dust and resistant to water projected from any direction. This makes it suitable for climates with frequent rainfall and for installations near fountains or in a patio with automated irrigation. The IK10 impact resistance rating is the highest on the standard scale, indicating that the body can withstand considerable impacts without deteriorating.

The 360º lighting option makes this beacon especially useful in passageways or at central points in the garden. Unlike directional-emission lamps, this one distributes light evenly in all directions. The 20W COB LED light source is included from the factory. No additional bulb needs to be purchased to start up the lamp.

What level of protection does this lamp offer against rain and dust?

The RUSH 800 has IP65 certification, meaning total protection against dust and resistance to water projected from any direction. It is suitable for permanent installation in outdoor areas exposed to rain.

Does the IK10 impact resistance apply to the diffuser as well, or only to the body?

The IK10 rating applies to the luminaire as a whole, including the polycarbonate diffuser. This material is significantly more resistant than glass, making the lamp suitable for passageways or spaces with a higher risk of accidental impact.
