Installation and specifications

Cement does not require special products for maintenance, but it is advisable to clean the surface occasionally with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid aggressive or abrasive detergents that may alter the finish. The diffuser glass can be cleaned with a soft cloth. Do not handle the lamp while the power is connected.

Design and use

The GLINT light works with bidirectional light. This means the lamp emits both upward and downward from the central body, creating two bands of light that are projected onto the wall and the surrounding area. The result is illumination that does not flatten the space, but rather gives it depth and defines volumes. On a stone facade or a garden wall, this effect is especially visible.

The body material is grey cement. It is not a finish applied over another base — it is the very nature of the material that gives it that neutral tone and characteristic matte texture. This choice fits well in environments where industrial materials, stone, dark wood or exposed concrete predominate. It also works in more natural gardens, where the cement integrates without drawing too much attention to itself.

The lamp has compact dimensions: 200 mm in length, 157 mm in height and 100 mm in depth. It does not take up too much space on the wall, but its weight — over four kilograms — gives it a physical presence that is noticeable. It is a lamp that feels solid, not like a lightweight accessory.

The integrated LED light source operates at 3000K, a warm color temperature that avoids the cold or clinical tone that many outdoor lights end up having. In a garden or on a terrace, that warmth makes the atmosphere more welcoming at nightfall. The 6.5 W power is sufficient to fulfill its decorative and marking function without generating excess light that causes discomfort.

As a wall lantern on a terrace it also performs well, especially if the surroundings have a more austere or contemporary character. It emits light in two directions: upward and downward. This allows a larger area of the wall and surroundings to be illuminated without the need to install two separate lamps.

Is the cement body resistant to rain and the temperature changes typical of outdoor environments?

Is the LED light source included or does it need to be purchased separately?

The SMD LED light source is included. You do not need to search for or purchase any additional components for the lamp to work from the very first moment.
