Installation and specifications

Before fixing the luminaire, make sure the wiring is turned off at the electrical panel. If you do not have experience with outdoor electrical installations, it is advisable to use an electrician. The LED bulb with E27 cap is not included and must be purchased separately.

To keep the cement in good condition, clean the surface with a slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive or acidic products that may alter the sand finish. The opal glass diffuser can be cleaned with a soft cloth. Periodically check that the anchor points are in good condition, especially after periods of heavy rain or intense cold.

Design and use

The BLOCK collection was born from the work of designers Àlex & Manel Lluscà, with a very specific formal proposal: oval geometry, solid volume and a material that refers directly to architecture. The cement in a sand finish does not try to imitate other materials or go unnoticed. It has a presence of its own, and that is precisely what makes it interesting in a garden or on a terrace where the other elements already have character.

This outdoor bollard measures 350 mm in height and 147 mm in its width and depth dimensions. The size is contained, which allows it to be integrated into spaces of different scales without looking disproportionate. In a large garden it can be placed in a series along a path or next to a planting area. On a smaller terrace it works equally well as a decorative light point next to a wall or in a corner.

The opal glass disperses the light and eliminates the bright spot effect, but does not significantly reduce the amount of light emitted. What changes is the quality: the illumination becomes softer and more uniform, without direct glare.
