Installation and specifications

Before installing the bollard, check that the installation point is level and firm. It is fixed to the ground, so it is advisable to prepare the base in advance and verify that the underground wiring is properly protected. The connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician. The bollard accepts voltages between 100V and 240V, making it compatible with the standard electrical grid in Spain and most countries.

To keep the lamp in good condition, clean the aluminium body with a damp cloth and avoid abrasive products that may damage the finish. The polycarbonate diffuser may accumulate dust or dirt over time; simply clean the outer surface with water and a soft cloth. Do not direct pressurised water jets directly onto the luminaire. Periodically check that the connections are in good condition and that there is no moisture accumulated at the base.

Design and use

The GIZA 650 bollard has a height of 650 mm, placing it in a compact and proportionate format suitable for most residential gardens and terraces. It is not visually intrusive, yet it fulfils its purpose: marking a path, delimiting an area or simply adding a luminous presence outdoors when night falls.

The body is made of injected aluminium in dark grey. This finish integrates well with stone, treated wood or porcelain stoneware paving, without drawing excessive attention during the day. Aluminium is a material resistant to corrosion and wear, especially useful outdoors, where exposure to rain, sun and temperature changes is constant.

The diffuser is opal polycarbonate, which softens the light output and prevents direct glare. The colour temperature is 3000K, a warm light that is not harsh and adapts well to natural environments such as the garden or patio. It does not generate the feeling of coldness that cooler or bluish lights sometimes produce. The atmosphere it creates is calm and pleasant, ideal for a terrace where you want to spend time outdoors without sacrificing visibility.

This means that the colours of plants, stone or any other nearby element are perceived naturally under this light, without distortion. Questions and answers

Does the GIZA 650 bollard include the light source and driver, or do they need to be purchased separately?

There is no need to purchase anything additional. The 15W COB LED lamp and the driver are included with the product. Only the corresponding electrical installation needs to be carried out.

Is the 3000K colour temperature suitable for garden use, or does it produce light that is too warm?

3000K is a warm light temperature, similar to that of a traditional incandescent bulb. In garden and terrace settings it is very appropriate because it does not distort natural colours and creates a pleasant atmosphere without being cold or excessively intense.

Does the light pollution control kit affect the amount of light emitted by the bollard?

It does not reduce the amount of light perceived in the illuminated area. What it does is control the direction of the light so that it does not disperse upwards or to the sides unnecessarily. The 500 lumens are used more efficiently thanks to this system.
