Overview

The RUSH 3700 floor lamp by FARO is an outdoor luminaire designed for open spaces where stable and long-lasting lighting is needed. With a height of 3.7 metres, it covers private gardens, urban parks, pedestrian access areas and passageways effectively. It requires no complex installation: it is fixed directly to the ground and takes up minimal floor space.

What sets this floor lamp apart is its construction designed to withstand real outdoor conditions. The aluminium and transparent polycarbonate body resists everyday impacts, and its IP65 certification guarantees protection against rain and dust. The integrated COB LED technology delivers clean, uniform light at 4000K, with no flickering or loss of intensity over time.

FARO is a Spanish company with decades of experience in lighting. Its products combine functionality and careful design, built to last under everyday conditions of use.

Installation and specifications

To install this floor lamp correctly, it is necessary to prepare a suitable base in the ground according to the type of terrain. The fixing is carried out from the base of the post downwards, so it is advisable to check the condition of the ground before starting. The wiring must be protected and buried in accordance with local electrical regulations. It is recommended that the installation be carried out by a qualified electrician, as it involves connection to the mains.

For maintenance, simply clean the body with a damp cloth and a mild detergent. Avoid abrasive products that may scratch the polycarbonate diffuser. Do not direct pressurised water jets directly onto the joints. Periodically check that the base remains secure and that there is no moisture build-up at the connection points.

Design and use

The RUSH 3700 floor lamp is part of a collection of technical outdoor lighting. The entire range shares the same construction criteria: resistant materials, certified protection and a long-life LED light source. It is a solution designed for those looking for an outdoor luminaire that works well for years without complications.

The aluminium body provides rigidity and stability against temperature variations and prolonged sun exposure. The transparent polycarbonate diffuser allows light to pass through without distortion, making it possible to make the most of the LED's performance. The combination of these materials makes this floor lamp suitable for demanding climatic conditions, from frequent rainfall to hot summers.

The IK10 certification indicates that the product has been tested against physical impacts of a certain intensity. This is a detail that matters in publicly accessible spaces, where the luminaire may be exposed to scrapes, accidental knocks or simply the wear of continuous use. Lighting in parks or municipal gardens often requires this level of protection to ensure the installation lasts without visible deterioration.

The colour temperature of 4000K provides a neutral white light that is neither cold nor overly warm. It is the intermediate point that works well in both domestic gardens and communal access areas. It allows clear visibility without creating a work-like atmosphere; it simply illuminates the space pleasantly once night falls.

The 360-degree distribution option allows light to be spread symmetrically around the post. It is useful when the floor lamp is at a central point, surrounded by areas to be illuminated in all directions. The wide variant, on the other hand, projects light over a greater distance, which is more practical in corridors, paths or elongated areas where it is desirable to cover more surface area with fewer light points.

At 3.7 metres in height, this floor lamp has presence without being excessive. It is a common measurement in private residential gardens and medium-scale parks. The dark grey design fits well in both modern settings and more classically styled gardens. It is discreet during the day and fulfils its function when night falls.

The post also serves as a structural element of the space: it marks pathways, defines zones and adds verticality to the outdoor environment. Combined with other luminaires from the same collection, it allows for coherent and well-resolved lighting throughout the entire outdoor area.
