If you are installing it in an area exposed to wind or splashing, ensure that all closing elements are properly tightened.

For maintenance, clean the aluminium body with a slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that may damage the black finish. The transparent glass diffuser may accumulate dust or dirt over time; a periodic wipe with a soft cloth is sufficient to maintain the quality of the light beam. Do not handle the luminaire while the power is connected.

Design and use

The PUK spotlight is part of a family of projectors designed with clean geometry and no distracting decorative elements. The body is made of aluminium with a black finish, a material that combines lightness with resistance to outdoor conditions. The transparent glass diffuser protects the light source without interfering with the purity of the beam, which is especially important in a projector with such a narrow angle as 15°.

The light produced by this projector has a temperature of 2700K, considered warm light. This tone works well on natural materials such as stone, wood, or brick, as it visually warms them without distorting their true colour too much. On a facade in ochre or grey tones, the effect is restrained and elegant. In a garden, this same warm light on the ground or vegetation creates a calm atmosphere, without the coldness of higher colour temperatures.

The 15° angle defines it as a directional accent projector. This means it is not intended to illuminate large surfaces uniformly, but to highlight a specific element: a column, a tree, a section of wall, an outdoor sculpture. If the goal is to illuminate a terrace or patio for general use, this spotlight will work better as a complement to other luminaires, not as the primary source.

The built-in goniometer allows the beam angle to be adjusted without additional tools, giving room to fine-tune the direction of the light once installed. This feature simplifies the staging process, especially when the projector is used to illuminate vertical elements from the ground or from a lateral position on the wall.

The possibility of using this projector in saline environments extends its application to coastal areas, where continuous exposure to salt can deteriorate less prepared materials. The aluminium used for the body performs well in this type of environment.

PUK is compatible with several accessories that expand its possibilities. The visor (ref. 75302V) reduces lateral light dispersion and improves glare control. The honeycomb grille (ref. 75302H) acts in a similar way, limiting the beam's viewing angle and preventing the spotlight from being uncomfortable in spaces where people are nearby. The spike accessory (ref. 75302S) allows it to be installed directly in the garden ground, without the need to fix it to a vertical surface. The tree-mounting accessory (ref. 75300F) offers another positioning option for illuminating vegetation from different points.

This reflector fits well in projects where visual coherence between architecture and lighting is sought. Its cylindrical shape and black colour allow it to blend in without drawing attention during the day, while at night the work is done by the light, not the fixture.

Questions and answers

Can this projector be installed directly in the garden ground?

In its standard configuration, this spotlight is wall-mounted. However, it is compatible with the spike accessory ref. 75302S, which allows it to be driven into the ground without the need for a vertical surface.

Is the 15° angle fixed or can it be modified once the projector is installed?

The beam angle is 15° and corresponds to the optics of the spotlight. What can be adjusted is the direction of the beam thanks to the built-in goniometer, which allows the projector to be tilted to point precisely at the element to be illuminated.

Is this projector suitable for a home near the sea?

Yes. The design of this reflector expressly considers application in saline environments, making it suitable for installations in coastal areas where exposure to salt is constant.
