The SIDE 450 wall light is a surface luminaire designed to be mounted on the wall. It works well in spaces where constant, uniform light is needed without resorting to complicated solutions. Installation and specifications

Preparation and installation. This wall light is fixed directly onto the wall. Before installation, check that the surface is solid and can support the weight of the unit. Locate the appropriate anchor point and make sure there is accessible wiring in that area. It is recommended that the electrical connection be carried out by a qualified electrician. The lamp operates at 220V–240V, corresponding to the standard domestic mains supply. The light source is integrated, so it is not necessary to handle the interior before first use.

Use and maintenance. To clean the steel body with matt white finish, use a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that may damage the surface. The glass diffuser can be cleaned in the same way, taking care not to apply excessive pressure. Do not handle the lamp while it is switched on or connected to the mains. If you detect any electrical problem, disconnect the luminaire before carrying out any inspection.

Design and use

The SIDE 450 wall light has a square shape with 450mm sides and 120mm depth. These proportions give it presence without appearing bulky. The steel structure provides solidity, and the matt white finish is neutral enough to adapt to different styles without imposing a strongly defined character.

The opal glass diffuser is the element that defines how light is perceived in the space. It does not allow the source to be seen directly, but instead distributes the luminosity evenly outward. A continuous brightness is projected onto the wall, with no harsh shadows or dark areas. This makes it suitable for environments where light needs to be both functional and pleasant at the same time.

The 3000K colour temperature produces warm light, closer to the tone of traditional lamps than to office white light. In a bedroom, this type of lighting helps create a more relaxed atmosphere. In the living room, it complements other light sources well without distorting the colours of the furniture or décor. In the hallway, it provides comfortable visibility without being too intense. In the kitchen, where light needs to be practical, the wall light delivers without generating a cold or clinical atmosphere.

The 20W SMD LED light source is integrated into the luminaire. There is no need to purchase any additional bulb or make any modifications before installation.

Is the glass diffuser of the wall light resistant or can it break easily during installation?

The diffuser is made of opal glass. It is a material that requires careful handling, especially during assembly. It is recommended to handle the lamp with caution and not to apply direct pressure to the diffuser at any time.

Is this wall light suitable for installation in the bathroom?

The manufacturer's specifications do not indicate any specific IP protection rating for this model. Therefore, it is recommended to consult an electrician before installing the lamp in wet areas of the bathroom where regulations require specific protection against moisture.
