Overview

LUNE is a wall light by FARO designed for those looking for a clean and discreet lighting solution. Its square shape and smooth white finish make it compatible with a wide variety of settings: from a bedroom with light-colored walls to an everyday hallway. This lamp fits effortlessly into interiors where visual order matters.

The wall light works with a GU10 LED bulb, making it an efficient option from the very start. It is designed to be mounted directly on the wall, without additional structures or elements that complicate installation. The housing combines aluminum and steel, two materials that ensure durability without adding unnecessary weight.

FARO is a Spanish brand with decades of experience in indoor and outdoor lighting. Its products combine functionality and design without falling into excess. The LUNE wall light is a good example of that philosophy: simple, well-built, and easy to integrate into the home.

Installation and specifications

Before installing the wall light, make sure to cut the power from the electrical panel. This model is fixed directly to the wall, so it is necessary to have a junction box or recessed light point at the desired location. It is recommended that installation be carried out by a qualified electrician. Check that the wall support is suitable for the weight of the wall light before fastening the screws.

To keep the wall light in good condition, clean the surface with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that may damage the white finish. Do not handle the bulb while the wall light is connected to the power supply. If you need to replace the GU10 LED bulb, make sure the replacement model does not exceed 8W of maximum power.

Design and use

The LUNE wall light has a square geometry that sets it apart from the more common rounded models. That straight line produces a very neat result on the wall, especially in interiors where flat surfaces and neutral colors predominate. The lamp does not draw attention, but it does not go unnoticed either: it takes its place naturally.

The body is made of aluminum and steel, a common combination in quality luminaires because it provides strength without adding bulk. The finish is smooth and white, with no textures or reliefs. This makes it easy for the wall light to adapt to both white-painted walls and surfaces in other light tones. In a room with light wood furniture, for example, the contrast is clean and balanced.

In the bedroom, this type of wall light works well as a reading light or as ambient lighting next to the bed. Being fixed to the wall, it frees up space on the bedside table and keeps the area tidy. The light it projects is direct and controlled, which is useful when there is no need to illuminate the entire room.

In the living room, the wall light can be used to highlight a specific area or to complement the main lighting. Placed at mid-height on a side wall, it adds depth to the space without the need for major changes. It also works in combination with other light sources: the ceiling lamp can handle general lighting while the wall light provides a more localized light point.

In the kitchen and dining room, wall lighting helps to define areas of use. In the kitchen, a wall light above the countertop or next to the work area improves visibility without the need to install additional ceiling luminaires. In the dining room, placed near the table, it helps create a more intimate atmosphere during meals.

In the bathroom, this wall light can be installed next to the mirror to improve frontal facial lighting, which is where the difference compared to overhead lighting is most noticeable. The white finish holds up well in environments with normal humidity levels, although it is not designed for areas with direct shower exposure.

Hallways are another space where this model performs well. In passageways, lighting is typically functional and discreet. The square design of LUNE fits that logic: it illuminates without distracting. In narrow hallways, its reduced depth of 65 mm is a practical advantage.

The voltage of 100V-240V allows it to be installed without adaptations at any point in the standard domestic electrical network. This is a detail that simplifies things when working with different properties or when planning a broader renovation.

Questions and answers

Does the LUNE wall light include the GU10 LED bulb at the time of purchase?

No, the bulb is not included. The wall light is compatible with GU10 LED bulbs of up to 8W. It must be purchased separately before installation.

What are the exact dimensions of the wall light and how far does it protrude from the wall?

The wall light measures 100 mm in height, 80 mm in length, and has a depth of 65 mm. That is the space it occupies from the wall outward, making it suitable for hallways and spaces with limited lateral clearance.

Is the body of the wall light made of plastic or metal?

The body is made of aluminum and steel. It contains no plastic in its main structure, which contributes to its durability and to the solidity of the white finish over time.
