Overview

The LUNE wall light by FARO is a wall lamp designed for those who want functional lighting without complications. Its smooth grey finish fits effortlessly into spaces of different styles, from a living room with contemporary furniture to a bedroom with simple lines. It takes up no space, it doesn't distract, but it does exactly what is expected of it.

It is made from aluminium and steel, giving it a structure that is both lightweight and solid. It weighs less than 250 grams, so wall installation does not require complex fixings. With a GU10 LED bulb — chosen separately — this lamp provides clean, direct lighting, adaptable to different intensity levels depending on the bulb used.

FARO is a Spanish brand with decades of experience in home lighting. Its products are designed to last and to integrate naturally into the everyday life of any room.

Installation and specifications

To install this wall light, it is recommended to cut the power at the electrical panel before starting any work. The wiring point must be prepared in the wall beforehand. Since the fixing is directly onto a vertical surface, it is advisable to check that the bracket is level before tightening the screws definitively. If you do not have experience with electrical installations, it is best to seek the help of an electrician.

The grey aluminium surface is easy to clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth. The use of abrasive products or solvents is not recommended, as they may damage the finish. Avoid allowing dust to accumulate inside the lamp holder. When replacing the GU10 bulb, make sure the lamp is switched off and cool before handling it.

Design and use

The LUNE wall light has compact dimensions: 155 mm in height, 80 mm in length and 65 mm in depth. This makes it a convenient option for spaces where size matters, such as a narrow hallway, the side of a bathroom mirror or the wall next to the headboard in a bedroom. It does not protrude too far from the wall and does not interfere with movement or other elements in the surroundings.

The body is constructed from aluminium and steel with a smooth matt grey finish. This type of material combination offers good resistance to everyday use without adding unnecessary weight. The grey colour, in its neutral version, works well on white walls, in stone tones or even on dark finishes. It does not impose a specific style, but rather adapts to what already exists in the room.

The lamp uses a GU10 LED bulb, which is not included but is easy to find in any lighting shop or hardware store. This type of light source consumes little energy, has a long lifespan and allows you to choose between different colour temperatures depending on the atmosphere you want to create. A warm light may be more suitable for a bedroom or living room; a cool or neutral light works better in the kitchen or bathroom.

In the bathroom, this wall light can be placed on either side of the mirror to achieve a more even light on the face, avoiding the shadows created by a luminaire positioned directly above. In bathrooms where natural light is scarce, this type of side installation makes a noticeable difference to the final result.

In the living room or dining room, two symmetrical units on either side of a picture or window can create an orderly composition that distributes light in a balanced way. It also works as supplementary lighting alongside a ceiling lamp, especially in living rooms with distinct zones.

In hallways, where there is usually little room to install lighting points, a wall light of these dimensions fits without issue. It provides directed light without taking up useful space and helps to make the circulation area feel more visually open.

In the kitchen, it can be installed on the wall above a side worktop or in a work area where additional spot lighting is needed. Combined with the general ceiling light, the result is a more functional kitchen.

The design of the LUNE does not seek to be the focal point of the space. It is a wall lamp that does its job well and lets the rest of the surroundings take centre stage. This makes it compatible with many types of interiors: from the most modern and stripped-back to those that mix materials and textures with a more personal approach.

Questions and answers

Is the LUNE wall light compatible with bulbs from any brand, or only specific ones?

The lamp holder is a standard GU10 type, so it accepts any LED bulb with that same base, regardless of the manufacturer. You only need to respect the indicated maximum wattage of 8 W.

Does the 100V–240V voltage mean it can be installed in any country without an adapter?

Yes. This voltage range covers both 110V and 220–240V electrical networks, so it is compatible with the standard electrical installation of most countries without the need for any adapter.

Can the aluminium and steel body be installed in bathrooms with normal humidity levels?

The wall light is designed for indoor use. In bathrooms with adequate ventilation and normal humidity, it can be installed without any issues. It is not recommended in direct shower areas or environments with constant steam build-up.
