Overview

KERA is a wall light by the brand FARO designed for residential spaces where a clean and tidy result is sought. Its compact shape and glossy black ceramic finish make it compatible with different home environments, from the hallway to the bedroom. It takes up no space, does not add visual clutter, and performs its function well without the need for more complex solutions.

The lamp is fixed directly to the wall and works with an E27 LED bulb, which is not included but is easy to find in any store. Its universal voltage between 100V and 240V makes it compatible with standard electrical installations. It is an option designed for those who want to upgrade the lighting in a room without complications.

FARO is a Spanish brand with experience in luminaires for residential and contract use. Its products are characterized by solid finishes and designs that integrate well into different types of interiors.

Installation and specifications

To install this wall light, a power outlet or wiring in the wall at the chosen point is required. Given its low weight, it does not require special anchors on most surfaces. It is recommended to fix the base with screws appropriate for the type of wall, whether plasterboard, brick, or concrete, and to verify that the wiring is disconnected from the power supply before starting. If there is no prior experience with electrical installations, it is preferable to have an electrician carry out the work.

The glossy ceramic finish is easy to clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Abrasive or acidic products that could damage the finish must be avoided. Water should not be applied directly, nor should scourers be used. The lamp is not designed for environments with excessive humidity unless the conditions of the space allow for it.

Design and use

The KERA wall light by FARO is based on a simple idea: a small ceramic body with a glossy black finish, mounted on the wall, offering directed light without the need for complex installations. Its dimensions are small, just 74 mm in all its main measurements and 62 mm in depth, making it a valid option for spaces where margin is tight.

Ceramic is a material that combines well with different environments. It does not deform, does not rust, and maintains its finish over time with basic care. The glossy black gives it presence without being excessive, and contrasts well with both light walls and medium-toned surfaces. In a modern-style kitchen, this wall light can work as a supplementary light source above the countertop or next to the work area. In a dining room, placed at the right height, it complements the central lighting without competing with it.

In the bedroom, the wall light comfortably replaces a bedside lamp when there is not enough space or when a clear surface is preferred. The light stays fixed to the wall, which also prevents it from falling or moving. In a well-ventilated bathroom it can serve the same function as an auxiliary lamp next to the mirror, as long as the installation is properly protected.

The living room also has room for this type of wall light. A focused light above a picture, in a reading corner, or next to a bookcase can change the atmosphere of the room with little effort. There is no need to renovate or move furniture. Just choose the spot, fix the base, and connect the LED bulb.

In hallways, where general lighting is often scarce or uneven, placing one or more wall lights of this type at mid-height helps the space look more balanced. The glossy black finish contrasts well with white or neutral-colored walls, which are the most common in residential hallways.

The use of LED technology in this wall light is a practical advantage: lower energy consumption, longer bulb life, and less heat generated. By working with an E27 socket, there is freedom to choose from different color temperature options, from warm white to more neutral light, depending on what best suits the atmosphere of each room.

The combination of ceramic and glossy black finish means this wall light works in classic-style interiors as well as in more contemporary settings. It is discreet, has a clean line, and does not distract. For those looking for a wall lamp that does not impose a style but provides precise light, KERA is a reasonable choice.
