Overview

The FARO wall light is an interior lamp made of plaster with a matte white finish. It is mounted directly on the wall and provides directed, clean light in the space where it is placed. It is a valid option for the bedroom, living room, dining room or hallway — any corner where you want to add lighting without taking up space on the ceiling or work surface.

The plaster body gives this wall light a calm and uniform appearance. It does not draw excessive attention, but fits well in interiors with clean lines and a contemporary style. The lamp works with a G9 LED bulb, which is not included, allowing you to choose the colour temperature according to each person's preference.

FARO is a company with experience in manufacturing luminaires for domestic use and interior design. Their products follow functional design criteria and are designed for simple installations in residential environments.

Installation and specifications

To install this wall light, a recessed junction box or access to the electrical wiring is required. Installation must be carried out by an electrician or a person with knowledge of electrical installations. Before starting any work, the power must be switched off at the electrical panel. The lamp does not come with a bulb, so it is advisable to have a compatible G9 LED bulb rated at 6 W on hand before installation.

The plaster body requires careful handling during installation and use. To clean the surface, a dry or slightly damp cloth is recommended, without abrasive products or solvents. Avoid direct impacts, as plaster is more fragile than other materials. Do not install in areas with high humidity without additional protection.

Design and use

This wall light is made of plaster, a material that has its own presence within residential interior design. Unlike metal or plastic, plaster offers a texture that integrates naturally with plastered walls, painted surfaces or finishes in neutral tones. The matte white finish avoids glare and allows the lamp to blend into the overall setting without standing out in a striking way.

The shape of the wall light is compact. With 218 mm in length and just 75 mm in depth, it does not protrude too much from the wall. This makes it suitable for narrow hallways or rooms where the space between the wall and the furniture is limited. In the bedroom, for example, it can be placed on either side of the headboard without interfering with the usual movement around the room.

In the living room, this wall light works well as secondary ambient lighting. Combined with a ceiling or floor lamp, it helps to distribute lighting more evenly and eliminates the shadowy areas that tend to remain along the walls. In the dining room it can be used to highlight a specific point, such as a sideboard or a passageway.

The bathroom is another space where this type of lamp makes sense, provided it is installed in an area away from the shower or bathtub and without direct exposure to steam. The matte white finish does not deteriorate with the usual temperature changes in a well-ventilated bathroom, and its neutral appearance suits most current styles.

In the kitchen, the wall light can be particularly useful in work areas or on walls without tall cabinets. The light from a well-positioned lamp at that point can complement the general lighting without creating annoying shadows on the worktop. In long hallways, placing several wall lights at the same height with regular spacing creates an orderly visual continuity.

The design of this wall light does not follow a specific trend, which makes it easy for it to coexist with interiors of different styles. In spaces with straight-lined furniture and light colours, the matte white body is almost imperceptible. In environments with more textures — wood, natural materials or artisan finishes — the plaster provides a soft contrast without disrupting the overall composition.

As a surface wall luminaire, its installation does not require work on the ceiling or structural modifications. This simplifies the process in partial renovations or in rental properties where intervention in fixed elements is to be avoided. The G9 LED bulb, once installed, offers low energy consumption and a long service life.
