Overview

The DUAS wall light by FARO is a circular-shaped wall lamp designed for comfortable reading without needing a floor lamp or a cluttered bedside table. It mounts directly to the wall and provides warm, focused light exactly where it is needed. Its matte white finish fits effortlessly into Nordic-style rooms, bedrooms with light-coloured walls, or any corner where visual order is sought.

What sets this wall light apart is its built-in USB-C port and small rear tray. While the lamp provides light, the phone rests on the tray and charges at the same time, with no loose cables on the bedside table or adapters searched for at the last minute. It is a detail that simplifies the nightly routine without adding bulk to the space.

FARO is a Spanish brand with decades of experience in interior lighting. Its products combine functionality and careful design, conceived for real domestic use.

Installation and specifications

To install this wall light, a power outlet in the wall is required, or the wiring must be run to the point where it will be fixed. It is recommended to carefully mark the position before drilling, using a level to ensure it is straight. As it is a surface-mounted lamp, the wiring must be tucked inside the base. If you do not have experience with electrical installations, the safest option is to hire an electrician.

To clean the surface of the wall light, a dry or slightly damp cloth is sufficient. Abrasive products or solvents that could damage the matte white finish should not be used. Make sure the lamp is switched off and disconnected before cleaning it. Do not expose the metal body to prolonged moisture.

Design and use

The DUAS wall light has a steel body with a matte white finish. The circular shape of the lamp gives it a clean and symmetrical appearance that does not compete with the other elements in the room. With a diameter of 144 mm and a depth of 65 mm, it takes up little space on the wall and does not cast annoying shadows around it.

The light source is a factory-included 3 W COB LED, with a colour temperature of 2700K. This means warm light, similar to that of a traditional bulb, which is pleasant for reading before sleep or for lighting a hallway without being harsh. It is not a general ambient light, but a supporting light — directed and efficient.

In the bedroom, this wall light works well as an individual reading lamp beside the bed. The USB-C port and rear tray turn the wall into a small, organised charging point. Those who have the habit of leaving their phone charging overnight will find in this detail a practical solution that does not require installing an additional socket.

In the living room or dining room, the wall light can be used as decorative lighting on a side wall, complementing a main lamp. Its modern design and neutral colour allow it to be combined with light-coloured furniture or natural-toned wood without looking out of place. It also works well in hallways, where a focused light is needed without taking up floor space.

In the bathroom, as long as it is installed in an area away from water, it can be a good supporting lamp next to the mirror or in the vanity area. The matte white finish of the lamp maintains visual coherence in bathrooms with light tiles or neutral walls.

In the kitchen, a wall light like this can be placed in the work area or next to a spot where the phone is regularly charged. It does not replace the main lighting, but adds light exactly where it is needed without requiring a complex installation.

The combination of simple materials, an included LED, and extra functionality makes this wall light a coherent option for those renovating a room and looking for solutions that do not depend on several separate accessories.

Questions and answers

Is the LED light source included with the DUAS wall light or does it need to be purchased separately?

The 3 W COB LED light source is included from the factory. No additional bulb needs to be purchased before installing the wall light.

Does the built-in USB-C port charge any mobile device or only certain models?

The USB-C port is a standard port compatible with devices that use this type of connector. The rear tray is designed to rest the phone on during charging, so it does not hang from the cable.

What colour temperature does the light from this wall light correspond to, and for which environments is it most suitable?

The colour temperature is 2700K, which corresponds to warm light. It is a pleasant tone for bedrooms, hallways or living rooms where a relaxed atmosphere is preferred over cold or neutral light.
