Overview

The DANTE wall light by FARO is an adjustable LED wall lamp designed for those looking for directed and precise lighting in the bedroom or any reading corner. With only 3W of power consumption, it provides a warm light that does not strain the eyes and can be aimed exactly where needed, without having to move anything out of place.

The geometric and minimalist design of the wall light fits well in contemporary interiors where every element must serve a function without overwhelming the space. The satin gold finish adds character without being flashy, and the compact aluminum and steel body remains stable on the wall for years.

FARO is a Spanish brand with a long track record in interior and exterior lighting. Its catalog combines rigorous technical criteria with a clear focus on design applied to the home.

Installation and specifications

Before installing the wall light, verify that the wiring in the wall matches the indicated voltage: 220V–240V. As this is a surface-mounted wall luminaire, a power outlet or available light point is required at the chosen location. It is recommended that installation be carried out by a qualified electrician if you do not have experience with electrical connections. Check that the wall surface is flat and sturdy before fixing the wall light.

The body of the wall light is made of aluminum and steel with a satin gold finish. To clean the surface, use a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that may damage the finish. Please note that the LED bulb is not included and you must purchase a compatible SMD LED source separately. Always turn off the light before cleaning or adjusting the direction of the head.

Design and use

The DANTE wall light has dimensions designed to avoid taking up unnecessary space on the wall. At 240 mm high, 50 mm long and 80 mm deep, it integrates without issue on walls where space between furniture is tight. It is the kind of lamp that does not draw attention because of its size, but because of how it is made.

The satin gold finish on aluminum and steel gives the wall light an elegant yet restrained presence. It is not a shiny gold that stands out excessively, but a matte tone that combines well with light wood, neutral wall tones and linen or cotton textiles. It also works in rooms with greater contrast, such as dark walls or industrial-style elements, where the gold acts as a visual balancing point.

The beam orientation is one of the most useful aspects of this wall light. You can direct the light exactly where you need it: toward the book, toward the nightstand, or toward a specific point in the room. This makes it a practical solution for the bedroom, where the bedside lamp needs to provide light without disturbing whoever is sleeping next to you.

The color temperature of 2700K produces a warm light, close to that of traditional incandescent bulbs, which does not create visual strain in rest environments. It is the kind of light that allows comfortable reading for an extended period of time without the eyes suffering.

Although the DANTE wall light is primarily designed for the bedroom, it adapts well to other spaces in the home. In the living room it can work as an accent light point over a bookshelf or a piece of art on the wall. In hallways, where overhead lighting is often scarce or too direct, this wall light offers a softer and more directed alternative. In the bathroom it can also find its place, especially in installations with mirrors or vanity areas where directional light without glare is needed.

In the dining room, a wall light of this type placed next to a sideboard or buffet can define an ambient zone without the need to install an additional ceiling luminaire. In the kitchen, if there is a work corner or a recipe-reading area that does not receive enough natural light, the DANTE can meet that need discreetly.

The modern trend of mixing different light points in the same room makes wall lights like this increasingly common in renovation projects. Instead of relying on a single central lamp, light sources with different functions are distributed: general, task and ambient. The DANTE covers the second role well.

The weight of 0,37 kg means it does not require special anchoring on most conventional walls. Its compact and lightweight format simplifies installation and leaves room to reposition it if the design of the space changes.

Questions and answers

Is the LED light source included with the DANTE wall light?

No, the light source is not included. It is necessary to purchase separately a SMD LED bulb compatible with the wall light's socket and with a maximum power of 3W.

Is the 2700K color temperature suitable for reading before sleeping?

Yes. 2700K produces a warm and soft light, similar to traditional incandescent, which is comfortable for nighttime reading without affecting rest.

Does the wall light head allow the beam direction to be changed once installed?

Yes. The DANTE wall light is designed to be adjustable, allowing the direction of the light to be set after installation without the need for tools or modifying the fixing point on the wall.
