Overview

The CORB wall light by FARO is a wall lamp designed for those looking for a clean, functional, and adjustable lighting solution. It works well in the bedroom, but also fits in hotel rooms, hallways, reception areas, or any space where light needs to be directed to a specific point. Its matte white design and aluminum finish give it a modern look that blends with different interior styles.

The main advantage of this wall light is the ability to orient the spotlight: it is not fixed in a single direction, but can be adjusted as needed. It also features an integrated USB input, making it practical for nightstands or work areas where devices need to be charged without occupying additional outlets.

FARO is a Spanish brand with a long history in the lighting industry. Its products combine functionality and refined aesthetics, with a presence in both residential and commercial and hospitality projects.

Installation and specifications

For installation, it is recommended to mount the wall light on a solid wall or suitable surface capable of supporting the weight of the unit. As no bulb is included, a GU10 LED bulb compatible with the specified wattage must be installed before switching on the lamp. If there is no prior experience with electrical installations, it is best to hire an electrician. The universal voltage allows it to be used without an adapter in different countries.

For maintenance, simply clean the surface with a soft, dry cloth. Abrasive products or liquids should not be used directly on the aluminum body. Before any cleaning or handling, disconnect the lamp from the power supply.

Design and use

The CORB wall light has a compact profile that does not take up excessive space, yet is well executed in terms of materials and finishes. The matte white aluminum body gives it solidity without adding unnecessary weight. It is a wall lamp that does not aim to draw too much attention, but integrates easily into contemporary spaces where visual order matters.

The fact that it is adjustable considerably changes how it can be used. In a bedroom, for example, it allows light to be directed toward a book or screen without disturbing the other side of the bed. In a hotel room, that same flexibility is useful for different types of guests with different needs. It is not a decorative lamp that simply accompanies the ambiance: it serves a specific function and adapts to whoever uses it.

The integrated USB input is a detail that is especially appreciated in the bedroom or rest areas. It allows charging a phone or tablet without needing an additional adapter or looking for a free outlet. In rooms where space next to the bed is limited, this makes a real difference.

In terms of spaces where it fits well, the CORB wall light works in wider hallways, where a ceiling lamp does not always distribute light evenly. It can also be installed in the bathroom if the electrical conditions of the space allow it, although for wet areas it is advisable to verify the suitability of the installation point. In the living room or dining room it can work as accent lighting over a specific area, complementing general illumination.

The matte white aluminum finish pairs well with light walls, light wood, and gray or black finishes. It can also work without issue in warmer environments if the rest of the color palette allows it. The minimalism of its form makes it hard to clash: it has no elements that conflict with different styles, from Nordic to more neutral modern. It does not incorporate glass, wrought iron, or rattan elements, which reinforces that formal cleanliness.

The GU10 LED bulb, which is not included, is easy to find and allows the color temperature to be chosen according to the desired ambiance. A warmer light promotes rest in the bedroom; a more neutral or cool one is more useful in work areas or hallways where brightness is a priority. With a maximum wattage of 8 W, the lamp provides sufficient light for localized use without excessive consumption.

In renovation projects or businesses such as hotels, restaurants, or coworking spaces, the CORB wall light can easily be installed in series along a hallway or above headboards in rooms. Its reduced weight and compatibility with voltages between 100 V and 240 V make it suitable for different markets and environments.
