Overview

The COCO wall light by FARO is a three-light wall lamp that adapts to different needs within the home. Its main advantage lies in its orientation: each arm can move 350 degrees on the horizontal axis and 90 degrees on the vertical axis, allowing you to direct the light exactly where needed, without depending on the fixed position of the fixture.

This is a lamp designed for spaces where lighting requires a certain degree of flexibility. It works well in the bedroom as a reading or ambient light, in the living room to highlight a specific area, or in the dining room when more directed lighting than ceiling lights is desired.

FARO is a Spanish brand with years of experience in indoor and outdoor lighting. The COCO collection reflects their way of working: functional design, solid materials, and careful finishes.

Installation and specifications

Installing this wall light requires an electrical connection through the wall. Before starting, turn off the power at the electrical panel. The anchor point must be on a firm surface, preferably over a plug or in an area with solid structure behind the cladding. If you have no experience with electrical installations, it is advisable to hire an electrician. The GU10 LED bulb is not included, so it is best to have it on hand before installation.

For cleaning, a dry or slightly damp cloth on the steel and ABS surface is sufficient. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that may damage the matte black finish. Do not clean the lamp while it is on or immediately after turning it off. Periodically check that the wall light remains securely fixed to the wall.

Design and use

The COCO wall light has a compact and elongated structure. At 420 mm long and only 100 mm deep, it does not take up too much space yet still has a visual presence. The matte black finish gives it a clean, glare-free look that integrates well with walls of different colors and materials.

The body combines steel and ABS. The steel adds strength to the structure, while the ABS allows for lighter forms without sacrificing solidity. The result is a wall lamp that feels firm to the touch but is not heavy. Its net weight of 1.21 kg indicates that it is a manageable fixture both in transport and installation.

Orientation is what sets this wall light apart from other fixed models. Being able to move each light point independently makes COCO a highly versatile lamp. In the bedroom, for example, one of the lights can be directed toward the headboard for reading, and the other two toward the ceiling to create a softer ambiance. In the living room, the same logic allows you to combine functional and decorative lighting without needing to install several separate fixtures.

In the dining room, a wall light with directed illumination can light up the table without leaving the rest of the room in shadow. Simply point the arms toward the center and let the light bounce. In more utilitarian spaces such as hallways, this type of lamp handles the passage well without taking up floor space or hanging from the ceiling.

The wall light also fits in the bathroom, as long as it is installed in an area away from the shower or bathtub, complying with the established electrical safety zones. In that context, the matte black finish contrasts well with the white or grey tiles commonly used. The COCO wall lamp also works in the kitchen, where spot lighting makes a lot of sense over work areas.

The design of COCO is modern without being flashy. It has no unnecessary ornaments. The lines are clean, the arms are discreet, and the matte black does not compete with the rest of the furniture. This makes it compatible with Nordic, industrial, or contemporary interior styles, as well as more neutral spaces where you simply want a wall lamp that works well and does not look out of place.

The COCO collection by FARO comes in different versions and finishes, making it possible to find the model that best suits each project. This three-light black version is a solid option for those seeking flexibility in lighting and a finish that holds up well over time without losing its appearance.
