Overview

The BOC LED bronze wall light by FARO is a wall lamp designed for areas where a specific, well-directed light source is needed. It works especially well next to the bed, beside the sofa in the living room, or in the hallway where overly intense general lighting is to be avoided. Its bronze finish gives it a distinctive character without being excessive.

This lamp incorporates integrated high-power LED technology, meaning there is no need to think about bulb replacements or compatibility issues. The warm 3000K light creates a pleasant atmosphere, without the cold white that strains the eyes. For a bedroom or hotel room, that detail makes the difference between a space where one can relax and one where comfort is never quite achieved.

FARO is a Spanish company with decades of experience in interior lighting. Its products combine functionality and style without falling into decorative excess, and the BOC LED is a good example of that philosophy.

Installation and specifications

This wall light is fixed directly to the wall using the included anchors. Before installing, it is advisable to identify whether the wall is masonry, drywall, or wood, as the type of plug varies depending on the surface. The wiring should be embedded in the wall or covered with a conduit for a clean finish. If you have no experience with electrical installations, it is recommended to hire an electrician.

To clean the lamp, a dry or slightly damp cloth is sufficient. Abrasive products or solvents should not be used on the bronze finish, as they can alter the color. The integrated LED bulb requires no additional maintenance.

Design and use

The BOC LED bronze wall light has compact dimensions: 170 mm high, 85 mm in length, and 110 mm in depth. It is a lamp that does not take up unnecessary visual space, making it useful in small rooms, narrow hallways, or bathrooms where every centimetre counts. The weight of just 0.4 kg makes installation easy without the need for heavy anchors.

The body is made of aluminium and steel, two materials that ensure durability without adding weight. The bronze finish has a warm tone that pairs well with interiors where dark woods, natural textiles, or earthy tones predominate. It can also work in more modern spaces when combined with other metallic elements in the same finish, such as furniture hardware or mirror frames.

In the bedroom, this wall light serves a very specific purpose: providing reading light without disturbing the person sleeping beside you. Placed at the right height next to the headboard, it allows comfortable reading without needing to turn on a ceiling lamp. In hotel rooms, that type of solution is particularly valued because each guest can control their own light source.

In the living room, a wall light like this can be used to create a more intimate atmosphere at night, when general lighting is too intense. Placed next to the sofa or on a side wall, it provides supporting light that makes the space more welcoming without major changes to the décor.

In the bathroom, the BOC LED lamp can be installed on either side of the mirror to achieve more uniform facial lighting without shadows. The temperature of 3000K, corresponding to warm white light, is comfortable for that use and does not distort colors. In bathrooms with gold or copper finishes, the bronze of the wall light integrates naturally.

In hallways and passageways, this type of wall light works as a visual guide without the need for overhead lighting. It can be installed at mid-height or higher, depending on whether you prefer to direct the light downward or project it in a more diffused way. In elongated spaces such as an apartment hallway, two or three units of this lamp distributed along the wall produce a clean and consistent result.

The design of the BOC LED is discreet, with no decorative elements that place it in a specific style. That gives it versatility: it works equally well in a Nordic-style interior, an industrial setting, or a room with classic furniture. The kitchen can also be a suitable space if a specific work area on the wall needs to be lit, although its primary use remains the bedroom and living room.

The integrated LED technology consumes only 3W, resulting in real savings in daily energy consumption compared to older solutions. The light it emits is stable and flicker-free, which reduces eye strain during reading or work sessions.

Questions and answers

Does the BOC LED wall light include the light source or does it need to be purchased separately?

The lamp includes the integrated high-power LED light source. No additional bulb needs to be purchased or any compatibility checked.

What is the color temperature of this lamp and for which environments is it most suitable?
