Overview

The SUAU wall light by FARO is a wall lamp designed specifically for reading. Its compact shape and integrated warm light make it a practical option for the bedroom, although it also fits well in a living room, hallway, or any corner where directed light is needed without taking up space. The body is made of aluminum and steel in a matte black finish, giving it a clean look with no unnecessary ornamentation.

What sets this wall light apart is the combination of a high-power LED source with an integrated USB-C port. This means you can charge your phone or any other device directly from the lamp, without the need for additional outlets. The 3000K light is warm and pleasant on the eyes, suitable for reading or relaxing without being bothersome.

FARO is a brand with a long track record in interior lighting. Their products combine functional design with quality materials, built to last and adapt to different types of domestic spaces.

Installation and specifications

For installation, this wall light requires connection to the electrical network. Since it is a surface-mounted luminaire with direct wall fixing, it is advisable to have a light point already installed in the desired area. If there is no prior wiring at that point, it is best to have an electrician assess the best option before proceeding. The wall light is compatible with voltages between 100V and 240V, so it works without adapters on the standard Spanish electrical network. Make sure the wall has sufficient strength to support the anchor and use the appropriate plugs and screws for the type of surface.

To keep the lamp in good condition, clean it with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that could damage the matte black finish of the body. Do not touch the LED source directly with your fingers. Always turn off the lamp before any cleaning or handling.

Design and use

The SUAU wall light was designed by the Nahtrang studio with a clear idea: to take up as little space as possible without sacrificing functionality. With dimensions of 170 mm high, 97 mm long, and 140 mm deep, this wall lamp adapts well to spaces where room is limited. In the bedroom, for example, it allows you to do without a larger bedside table or a desk lamp, leaving the area more uncluttered.

The aluminum and steel body gives it remarkable solidity for its size. The matte black finish avoids reflections and fits easily into modern-style interiors, although it can also integrate into spaces with more neutral or even industrial design touches. It is not a lamp that draws attention on its own, and that is precisely part of its value: it disappears into the environment without ceasing to fulfill its function.

The included high-power LED light source emits at 3000K, a color temperature that falls within the warm range. This type of light does not tire the eyes and is ideal for reading for extended periods, for creating a calm atmosphere in the living room, or simply for illuminating a hallway without generating a cold or clinical feeling. With a maximum power of 4.5 W, energy consumption is very low.

One of the most practical features of this wall light is the integrated USB-C port. In the bedroom, it allows you to charge your phone overnight without needing a long cable to the nearest outlet. In the living room or a work room, it can be used to keep an e-reader, headphones, or any compatible device charged. It is a detail that in everyday life proves more useful than it seems.

This wall lamp also makes sense in the dining room, especially when looking for an additional light point above a sideboard or a reading area. In large bathrooms or dressing rooms, it can complement general lighting by providing a more focused light source. In hallways, its compact profile and low energy consumption make it an efficient option for keeping the area lit without installing a larger solution.

The SUAU wall light pairs well with furniture in dark or neutral colors. In a room with elements in black, grey, or white, it becomes a natural part of the whole. In spaces where light wood or beige tones predominate, the matte black body acts as a counterpoint without feeling forced. The result is a lamp that does not condition the décor, but rather adapts to it.
