Overview

This wall light from FARO is a solution designed for the bedroom, although it works equally well in the living room, hallway, or any corner where a practical and discreet light source is needed. It features an integrated tray for resting a book or phone, and a USB port for charging devices without the need for additional outlets. All in a compact body that mounts directly to the wall and frees up space on the nightstand.

The lamp includes a 3W LED light source with warm light at 3000K, integrated at the factory. No need to look for or change bulbs. The matte silver finish on aluminum and steel gives it a clean, tidy appearance that effortlessly fits into modern or simple-lined interiors.

FARO is a Spanish brand with a long track record in interior lighting. It designs its products with everyday use in mind, combining durable materials with forms that do not overwhelm the space.

Installation and specifications

To install this wall light, a power outlet or recessed wiring is required at the chosen point. The fixing is directly onto the vertical surface. It is recommended that the electrical installation be carried out by a qualified electrician, especially when working with recessed wiring. Before connecting the lamp, make sure to cut the power at the electrical panel.

To clean the surface of the wall light, use a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that could damage the matte silver finish. Do not handle the lamp while the power is connected.

Design and use

The body of this wall light is made of aluminum and steel with a matte silver finish. These are materials that withstand daily use well and do not lose their appearance over time. The matte surface does not reflect light aggressively and maintains a neutral tone that blends in without drawing attention.

The lamp has a compact and refined shape. Its dimensions — 280 mm long, 155 mm high, and 120 mm deep — allow it to be placed without taking up too much visual space. It is a common solution in bedrooms where the nightstand is already occupied by other objects, but it also fits well in hallways, bathrooms, or the living room when a supporting light is needed near an armchair or sofa.

The built-in tray is one of the most practical details. It allows you to set down a phone or a book without needing another surface. In the bedroom, this means fewer objects on the nightstand and a tidier appearance. In the bathroom, it can be used to leave small items near the mirror. In the living room or dining room, it adds an extra function without changing the decorative character of the wall light.

The integrated USB port is another feature that sets this wall light apart from a conventional luminaire. It allows you to charge your phone directly from the wall, without using the outlets on the baseboard. In the bedroom, it is especially useful at night. In rooms with few accessible outlets, it is also a real advantage.

The 3W LED light source emits a colour temperature of 3000K, which corresponds to warm light. This type of lighting is suitable for spaces where a calm atmosphere is desired, such as the bedroom or living room. It is not an intense work light, but a companion light — for reading before sleep or creating a relaxed atmosphere in the dining room. The bulb is included and does not require regular replacement.

The design of the wall light follows a modern, clean-lined style. It has no heavily decorative elements, making it compatible with Nordic, minimalist, or contemporary interiors. In a bedroom with light wood furniture, the matte silver adds a soft contrast. In a living room with white or grey finishes, it blends in naturally. It also works in modern bathrooms where a light point above the sink or mirror is desired, although its strong suit remains use in rest areas.

Installation is carried out directly on the wall, without intermediate structures. The total weight is 1.58 kg, which makes it easy to fix on most domestic surfaces. The voltage compatibility between 100V and 240V makes it suitable for use in different electrical configurations.
