Overview

The FARO PURE LED black wall light is a wall lamp designed for residential spaces where design matters as much as functionality. Its steel body in a matte black finish and its rounded head give it a clean look, with no unnecessary elements. It is an option that fits well in a bedroom, a living room or a hallway, without drawing too much attention but without going unnoticed.

The SMD LED light source is included, which means the lamp arrives ready to install. The 3000K colour temperature produces a warm light that is pleasant in spaces where you want to rest or simply be comfortable. The transparent PMMA diffuser lets light through without distorting it, distributing it softly in the surrounding area.

FARO is a Spanish brand with a track record in the lighting sector. Their products are aimed at indoor use and are characterised by combining quality materials with shapes that work in different types of interiors.

Installation and specifications

Before installing the wall light, make sure the wall where you are going to fix it can support the weight of the assembly. Always work with the power cut off at the electrical panel. If you have no experience with electrical installations, it is advisable to have the installation carried out by an electrician. Verify that the existing wiring in the wall is compatible with the device's specifications before connecting anything.

To clean the luminaire, use a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that could damage the matte black finish of the body or the PMMA diffuser. Do not handle the lamp with the power connected. Periodically check that the wall anchors remain secure, especially if there are frequent vibrations in the environment.

Design and use

The PURE LED black wall light presents itself as a wall luminaire with a refined line and a discreet presence. Its body is made of steel, a material that provides solidity and allows the matte black finish to be maintained for years without losing its original appearance. The rounded head is the most recognisable feature of the design: it softens the silhouette of the assembly and prevents the piece from looking too rigid or visually cold. This is what makes this lamp work well in rooms designed for rest, where sharp angles can create a less welcoming feeling.

The transparent PMMA diffuser serves a specific purpose: it allows the light source to be seen while at the same time softening the direct emission. This results in a light that illuminates without being intrusive, suitable for a bedroom or a living room where the lighting complements the main ceiling light. It is not a lamp designed to illuminate large surfaces on its own, but rather to add a warm, directed point of light that enhances the atmosphere of the room.

With a colour temperature of 3000K, the light it emits is warm. This range is normally associated with rest spaces and social areas of the home, such as the living room or dining room. In a dining room, a wall light of these characteristics can make the difference between a flat atmosphere and one with more depth. In bathrooms where functional lighting is already taken care of, this type of lamp can serve as a decorative complement next to the mirror or on a side wall.

The lamp also adapts well to hallways. In these spaces, lighting tends to be functional and little thought out, but a carefully designed wall light can transform a hallway into an area with its own personality. The size of the piece, 410 mm high by 180 mm long and 245 mm deep, gives it a presence without taking up too much visual or physical space.

In kitchens where there are work areas or an auxiliary table, this type of wall light can be used to reinforce the lighting at specific points. It is not the usual option in kitchens, but in open spaces where the kitchen is integrated with the dining room or living room, the wall light can unify the aesthetic approach of the entire area.

The style of the PURE LED black moves between the modern and the timeless. It has no elements that anchor it to a specific trend, which makes it easy to coexist with furniture of different styles. It works well in interiors with a predominance of materials such as dark wood, metal or lacquered surfaces. It can also be integrated into more sober and minimalist environments where each piece has to justify its presence without unnecessary ornamentation.
