Installation and specifications

To install this wall light, a power outlet or wiring is required in the chosen area, preferably at mirror height. Since this is a bathroom luminaire, installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician familiar with current regulations for wet areas. Before starting the installation, always switch off the power at the electrical panel. Check that the wall surface is solid and suitable for supporting the wall light with the included anchors or those appropriate for the wall type.

The chrome steel body can be cleaned with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive or chlorine-based products, as they may damage the finish. The glass diffuser may accumulate moisture inside; in that case, simply remove it carefully and dry it. Do not use solvents. Remember that the G9 LED bulb is not included and must be purchased separately before first use.

Design and use

PERLA is a wall light born with a clear idea: to illuminate the bathroom mirror without the lamp going unnoticed. The spherical opal glass diffuser creates a soft visual effect, as if the light were emanating from inside a bubble. It does not glare, it does not create harsh light spots. The light is distributed in an enveloping way, which is especially useful in front of the mirror.

The body of the wall light is made of steel with a chrome finish. This material is resistant to humidity and easy to maintain, two important qualities in a bathroom. Chrome slightly reflects the surroundings, which adds a sense of spaciousness in small areas. In a small bathroom, that detail matters more than it might seem.

The lamp uses a G9 LED bulb, a compact format that allows the wall light to maintain its contained size. With a maximum of 6 W, energy consumption is low. The light source is not included, so it is worth choosing a good quality G9 bulb with a color temperature suited to the use: for a bathroom where light is used daily, a temperature between 3000 K and 4000 K usually works well.

Its dimensions are discreet: 115 mm in diameter and 155 mm in depth. This means it does not take up excessive space on the wall, yet has enough visual presence to be noticed as a design element. It can be placed one on each side of the mirror or one centered at the top, depending on the available space and the desired effect.
