Overview

The NOVO wall light by FARO is a wall lamp designed for those seeking clean, functional lighting without complications. It mounts directly on the wall and can be installed in either a horizontal or vertical position, making it adaptable to almost any space in the home. The front panel folds in three positions, allowing you to direct the light as needed: upward, downward, or forward.

It is a lamp suitable for the living room, bedroom, hallway, or bathroom. It works well as primary lighting in medium-sized spaces or as a supplementary light source in larger rooms.

FARO is a company with a long track record in interior lighting. Their products combine durable materials with a discreet design, free of unnecessary decorative elements. The NOVO wall light reflects that approach: simple, well-executed, and easy to integrate into different environments.

Installation and specifications

Installing this wall light requires an existing electrical point on the surface. It is fixed directly to the wall using the anchoring elements included in the packaging. It is recommended to verify that the wall can support the weight of the light before proceeding. Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician or a person experienced in electrical assembly. Before starting any work, the power supply must be cut off at the main panel.

To clean the lamp, a soft, slightly damp cloth can be used. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that may damage the matte black finish. The luminaire should not be cleaned while the power is connected. The LED light source is included and does not require frequent replacement, as its lifespan is considerably longer than that of conventional bulbs.

Design and use

The NOVO wall light has an elongated steel body with a matte black finish. The shape is linear, with no reliefs or elements that visually clutter the space. It measures 500 mm in length and only 70 mm in depth, meaning it projects very little from the wall and does not interfere with foot traffic or nearby furniture.

The matte black finish is one of the standout features of this wall lamp. It does not reflect light, does not show fingerprints conspicuously, and integrates easily into both light and dark walls. In a room with white or grey furniture, the wall light acts as a subtle contrast. In spaces with dark wood or wrought iron elements, it blends naturally into the overall composition.

The ability to install it both horizontally and vertically considerably expands its uses. In a horizontal position, the wall light works well above a headboard in the bedroom, on either side of a mirror in the bathroom, or along a hallway. In a vertical position, it can be used as an accent point in a living room or reading area. The three-position foldable front panel adds another layer of flexibility: it allows light to be directed where needed without having to change the lamp's location.

The 2700K color temperature provides warm light, similar to that of a traditional incandescent bulb. It is a type of light that feels comfortable in spaces for rest or socializing: the bedroom, living room, or dining room. It does not strain the eyes and creates a calm atmosphere without being excessively dim.

In the kitchen, this wall light can be installed on the wall above a side countertop or as lighting in a secondary work area. In bathrooms, it looks good on both sides of the mirror, where symmetrically placed lamps eliminate shadows on the face. In hallways, one or two units distributed along the wall provide a continuous light guide without the need to install bulky fixtures.

The NOVO wall light also fits in spaces with a modern aesthetic or industrial touches. Matte black is a color that frequently appears in frames, shelving, and metal structures, so the lamp can integrate as another element within a cohesive décor.

With only 12 W of consumption and SMD LED technology, energy use is low. The light source is included, so there is no need to purchase it separately.

Questions and answers

How many positions does the foldable front panel of the NOVO wall light have?

The front panel can be placed in three different positions, allowing the light beam to be directed upward, downward, or forward depending on the needs of each room.

Is the 2700K color temperature suitable for a bedroom or living room?

Yes. 2700K corresponds to warm light, similar to that of a traditional bulb. It is a comfortable color temperature for rest spaces and social areas such as the living room or dining room.
