Installation and specifications

Before starting any work, make sure to switch off the power at the electrical panel.

To clean the steel body, use a soft, slightly damp cloth. The opal glass can be cleaned with a dry or minimally dampened cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that could damage the satin gold finish. The lamp requires no special maintenance, as the LED is integrated and does not need replacement parts.

Design and use

The MOY wall light has a compact circular silhouette, with a diameter of 140 mm and a depth of 130 mm. These dimensions allow it to be installed in spaces with little margin, such as a narrow hallway or a wall between two doors. Despite its modest size, the lamp projects light that is distributed evenly thanks to the opal glass diffuser. This type of glass softens the light source and prevents direct glare that can be bothersome in certain corners.

The steel body in satin gold is not a bright or aggressive gold. It is a matte tone with warmth, which reads well in natural light and also under artificial lighting. That shade makes it compatible with interiors where other elements in brass, copper or matte black appear. It also works well alongside light woods or on walls in neutral colours such as off-white, light grey or beige. In a modern bathroom with gold-toned fittings, this wall light fits effortlessly. In a living room with natural wood furniture and white walls, it adds a touch of warmth without feeling overdone.

In the bathroom, the lamp can be placed on either side of the mirror, at a comfortable height to illuminate the face without shadows. It can also be centred above the mirror if space is limited. In the dining room, placed on the wall next to a display cabinet or sideboard, it acts as ambient light that complements the main lighting. In a bedroom, it replaces bedside table lamps when there is no surface space available, keeping the reading area well lit. The option to install it as a flush ceiling light adds flexibility. Not every space has available wall space, and being able to choose between the two mounting types means the luminaire adapts to the actual layout of each room. Can this wall light also be installed on the ceiling, or does it only work on a wall?

The MOY lamp is designed primarily as a wall light, but it also allows ceiling installation as a flush light. Both options are valid depending on the needs of the space.

Is the LED light source included, or does it need to be purchased separately?

The LED is integrated into the lamp itself and is included from the factory. There is no need to purchase any additional bulbs or make any subsequent changes.

Is the satin gold finish on the body resistant to bathroom humidity?

The body is made of steel with a satin gold finish. To keep it in good condition in humid environments such as bathrooms, it is recommended to clean it with a dry cloth and avoid prolonged direct contact with water on the metal surface.
