Installation and specifications

Before installing the wall light, check that the chosen wall has access to electrical wiring and that the surface is solid. Make sure to cut the power before any handling.

To clean the lamp, use a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or those containing solvents, especially on the opal glass diffuser. Do not handle the luminaire with the power connected. The IP44 protection covers water splashes, but not direct immersion.

Design and use

The MABE wall light has a stainless steel body in a matte black finish. It is a finish that does not overload the space: it integrates effortlessly into both light-coloured walls and dark or neutral-toned surfaces. Matte black also does not accumulate fingerprints as easily as glossy finishes, making it more comfortable to maintain in frequently used spaces such as bathrooms or hallways.

The opal glass diffuser is one of the elements that defines the character of this lamp. The glass distributes light evenly, without concentrated bright spots or harsh shadows. This is especially useful in a bathroom, where balanced lighting above the mirror or washbasin visibly improves the daily experience. The opal tone of the diffuser also provides a refined appearance, with a certain design that fits contemporary interiors.

The colour temperature of 3000K places this light in the warm range. In a bathroom, this type of light feels more enveloping than cool light, and in bedrooms or rest areas it helps create a relaxed atmosphere. It does not distort colours significantly, making it suitable also in areas where make-up is applied or fine details need to be seen clearly.

The SMD LED technology it incorporates consumes only 6W. For a wall lamp in a bathroom or hallway, this consumption is sufficient to illuminate the space without generating excessive heat or driving up energy costs. The light source is not included in the package, so it must be purchased separately.

As for dimensions, the wall light measures 190mm high, 120mm long and 152mm deep. It is a compact format that adapts well to small spaces. In a small bathroom, for example, it does not take up more visual space than necessary. In narrow hallways, where the space between walls is limited, its moderate depth does not cause any passage issues.

Yes. The wall light is designed to be mounted in any direction on the wall, allowing it to be adapted to different lighting needs or space constraints.

Does the IP44 protection allow this lamp to be installed inside the wet zone of a bathroom?

The IP44 protection covers the lamp against water splashes from any direction. To determine whether it can be installed in a specific wet zone, consult the electrical regulations in force in your country, as minimum distances from showers and bathtubs are regulated.

Is the opal glass diffuser integrated into the lamp or is it a separate accessory?

The opal glass diffuser is part of the lamp and is included. What is not included is the LED light source, which must be purchased separately.
