Overview

The LINK wall light by FARO is a wall lamp designed by Estudi Ribaudí with a contemporary style that fits well in modern spaces. It is designed to illuminate specific areas: it can work in a bedroom, living room, bathroom, or hallways where directed and discreet lighting is needed.

The body of the wall light is made of steel with a bronze finish. That warm bronze tone adds character without feeling overwhelming. The lamp does not dominate the space, but it does not go unnoticed either. For those looking for a design piece that adds without complicating the overall look, this wall light is a clear option.

FARO is a Spanish brand with a long track record in lighting. Their products stand out for combining solid construction with careful design. LINK is a good example of that approach: simple in appearance, well resolved in the details.

Installation and specifications

To install this wall light, a power outlet or electrical wiring is required at the chosen point on the wall. As a surface-mounted luminaire with direct fixing, installation requires access to the internal electrical installation. It is recommended that installation be carried out by a qualified electrician. Before starting, make sure the power supply is switched off. The wall light accepts voltages between 100 V and 240 V, making it compatible with standard domestic installation. The GU10 LED bulb is not included and must be purchased separately; it is recommended to use one with a maximum of 8 W.

The steel with bronze finish is easy to clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Abrasive products or solvents should not be used, as they could damage the finish. It is advisable to clean the wall light regularly to prevent dust buildup, especially if installed in a hallway or bathroom. Do not wet the lamp body directly. Before any cleaning or bulb replacement, always disconnect the power.

Design and use

The LINK wall light has dimensions that make it versatile: 220 mm high, 56 mm long, and 180 mm deep. It does not take up too much space on the wall, but its outward projection is sufficient to generate well-directed light. It is a wall light that works both in large spaces and in narrower areas.

The steel body gives it solidity. Steel is a material that holds up well over time, does not deform, and maintains its appearance with little maintenance. The bronze finish adds a warm tone that pairs well with natural woods, raw-toned surfaces, or walls in neutral colors. It can also work in environments with metallic elements in gold or copper tones.

In the bedroom, this wall light can be placed on either side of the bed, instead of bedside lamps. It frees up surface space and provides more stable and clean light. The installation height can be adjusted according to the room layout. In a modern-style bedroom or one with design touches, the bronze finish fits effortlessly.

In the living room, the lamp can be used as accent lighting. Placed next to a sofa, in front of a bookcase, or in a reading corner, it provides light where needed without requiring a floor lamp. The wall light integrates into the wall and does not interfere with movement in the room.

The bathroom is another space where this type of wall light is practical. Installed on either side of the mirror, it provides more balanced light for the face than a ceiling lamp. In bathrooms with a contemporary style or with elements in matte black, brass, or bronze tones, this wall light adds coherence to the overall look. The same applies to simpler bathrooms where a detail that adds warmth is desired.

In hallways, the wall light has a clear function: to illuminate without saturating. One wall light at regular intervals is enough to guide the way and give character to a space that is often overlooked. LINK, with its restrained profile and warm finish, works well in everyday hallways.

In the kitchen, the wall light can complement the main lighting. Installed in a work area or next to a passage between the kitchen and dining room, it adds focused light without taking up counter space or shelving. In a dining room, it can be placed on the main wall to create atmosphere or highlight a decorative element.

The GU10 LED bulb allows you to choose the color temperature according to use. A warmer light creates ambiance in the living room or bedroom. A more neutral light is more functional in the bathroom or kitchen. Being LED, energy consumption remains low with a maximum power of 8 W.
