Overview

FRAME is a wall light from the brand FARO, designed for interior lighting. Its steel structure with an antique gold finish and white shade make it a piece that fits well both in a private bedroom and in hotel rooms or other hospitality spaces. The button integrated into the base makes turning the lamp on and off immediate, with no need to look for a wall switch.

It is a wall light designed for those who want to solve bedside or hallway lighting in a tidy and straightforward way. The combination of antique gold with a white shade delivers a balanced result: neither too ornate nor too plain.

FARO is a brand with years of experience in interior and exterior lighting. Its products are aimed at domestic and professional use, with attention to finish and functionality.

Installation and specifications

Before installing the wall light, make sure the wall where it will be mounted is in good condition and can support the weight of the product. Always cut the power at the electrical panel before starting any work. If you have no experience with electrical installations, it is advisable to have an electrician do it. The lamp is fixed directly to the wall and requires an E27 LED type bulb, which is not included in the box.

To clean the metal structure, use a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that could damage the antique gold finish. The white shade can be cleaned with a soft cloth. Do not handle the bulb or touch the electrical components while the lamp is connected to the mains.

Design and use

The FRAME wall light from FARO is a wall luminaire with a steel structure and a white shade. The antique gold finish of the body is not merely decorative: it adds a visual warmth that changes the perception of the space without needing to make major changes to the rest of the environment. When the lamp is on, the white shade distributes light softly towards the area where it is needed, without creating annoying glare or harsh shadow zones.

The bedroom is one of the spaces where this wall light works best. Placed at headboard height, it allows reading or ambient lighting without relying on a floor lamp or ceiling light. The button on the base makes it comfortable to turn off the light without getting up, which is a detail that is appreciated with daily use. In hotel rooms, that same detail improves the guest experience in a discreet and efficient way.

It can also be used in well-ventilated bathrooms, where an additional light point is needed next to the mirror or above a specific area. In bathrooms with warm finishes, the antique gold of the wall light pairs well with taps or accessories in similar tones. For hallways with little natural light, a wall light like this can solve the lighting in a more interesting way than a bare bulb or a standard flush mount.

The living room is another space where a wall light can complement general lighting. Instead of relying solely on the ceiling lamp, placing a wall light on a specific wall creates different planes of light and adds depth to the atmosphere. The FRAME design does not compete visually with the rest of the furniture: it integrates without imposing itself.

In a kitchen with neutral or warm-toned elements, the wall light can work as accent lighting over a work area or as complementary lighting in an adjacent dining area. In a dining room, the lateral light from a wall light on the wall can create a more intimate atmosphere during dinners than direct overhead lighting.

The steel body ensures good durability over time. It is not a material that deteriorates easily or requires any special care beyond regular cleaning. The lamp voltage is compatible with the standard electrical grid in Spain and in most European countries, making it easy to use without adapters.

The FRAME design responds to an aesthetic that could fit with vintage-style interiors or more contemporary environments where a touch of warmth is sought. The contrast between the dark structure with a golden hue and the white shade is one of its most recognisable features. It does not need other elements to draw attention, but neither does it interfere with spaces that already have a lot of decorative detail.

Questions and answers

Does the FRAME wall light include a bulb or does it need to be purchased separately?

The bulb is not included. The wall light is compatible with E27 LED type bulbs, with a maximum power of 15 W. You will need to purchase the bulb separately before installing it.

Does the integrated button work as an independent switch or does it need to be connected to a wall switch?

The button is integrated into the base of the wall light and allows the lamp to be turned on and off directly from the wall light itself, without needing to use the wall switch.

How far does the wall light protrude from the wall and how much space does it take up?

The depth of the wall light is 280 mm, meaning it protrudes 28 cm from the wall. Its height is 176 mm and its length is 190 mm. Keep these measurements in mind when choosing the installation location, especially in hallways or confined spaces.
