Overview

The BOC LED wall light by FARO is a wall lamp designed to provide focused light where it is needed most: beside the bed, next to the sofa, or in any corner of the bedroom or living room where a close and comfortable light source is desired. Its matte white finish allows it to blend effortlessly into interiors with clean lines and spaces that seek visual order.

It is a compact lamp, made of steel, with a high-power LED light source already included. There is no need to search for a separate bulb or worry about compatibility. It mounts directly to the wall, making it a tidy and stable solution compared to table or floor lamps.

FARO is a Spanish brand with decades of experience in indoor and outdoor lighting. Its products are present in both residential projects and hospitality environments, which speaks to their reliability under continuous use.

Installation and specifications

To install this wall light correctly, it is worth noting that the fixing is wall-mounted, so access to the electrical outlet or wall wiring is required. It is recommended that installation be carried out by a qualified electrician, especially when working with recessed wiring. Before starting, make sure to disconnect the power at the electrical panel. Verify that the wall can support the anchor and that the light point is well positioned relative to the intended use, whether beside the bed in the bedroom or on the living room wall.

For cleaning the wall light, a dry or slightly damp cloth is sufficient. Abrasive products or solvents should not be used on the matte white lacquered surface, as they can damage the finish. Avoid dust accumulation on the top of the body. Do not touch the LED source directly when it is on or recently switched off, as it may be hot.

Design and use

The BOC LED is a small-format wall light with a restrained silhouette. With its 170 mm height and 85 mm diameter, it takes up little space on the wall and does not visually interrupt the surroundings. The steel body gives it solidity, and the matte white finish avoids unwanted glare and pairs well with light surfaces, both on painted walls and more elaborate claddings.

The colour temperature of 3000K produces a warm light, similar to that of traditional incandescent lamps. It is a tone that rests the eyes and promotes relaxation, making it especially suitable as a reading light in the bedroom. Placed at the correct height beside the bed, it allows reading without disturbing the rest of the room, as the light is directed in a concentrated manner to where it is needed.

In the living room it also finds its place. Mounted on the wall behind the sofa or to one side, it adds a light point without competing with the main lighting. This combination of general light and localised light gives depth to the space and improves the sense of comfort. The lamp does not occupy horizontal surface, which is a real advantage in living rooms where side tables and free space are scarce.

In hallways, this wall light fulfils a practical function without appearing cluttered. Hallways tend to be areas with little space for bulky luminaires, and a wall light of these dimensions resolves the lighting need well without obstructing passage or visually overloading the corridor.

For hotel rooms, the BOC LED by FARO is a frequent choice precisely because its design does not draw attention to itself, yet fulfils exactly what is expected of it. The lamp integrates into the environment effortlessly, and the included LED source reduces maintenance needs, something valued in high-use settings.

In the bathroom, a wall light like this can work well as supplementary light beside the mirror, provided the installation is carried out respecting the safety zones established for wet areas. The warm 3000K light also promotes a calm atmosphere in the bathroom, far from the coldness of higher colour temperatures.

The matte white colour allows it to coexist with other elements of different styles. It fits both in modern-line interiors and in more neutral or minimalist environments. It does not need a very defined context to work: it adapts to what is already in the room without imposing a particular style.
